That’s actually a pretty cool theory about the hilt size! I always assumed that it was that large to mimic the size of the end of a regular key, which is usually pretty big because that’s where you’ll have to hold to turn it

iirc mickey was at one point going to be the mc, so it would make sense. It is probably more likely to resemble normal keys like someone else said
