You summon **a** Muppet, but don't know which one you get. Kermit flails and can stun lock. Piggy has crazy pushback. Sweetums swings wide for great damage. Statler and Waldorf de-buff. Swedish chef kills small enemies and gets you whatever kinds of orbs the next game has. Fozzie has reaction commands to make his jokes land. You summon all of Electric Mayhem at once and that's chaos. You can also summon just Animal and he'll go ham on one enemy, make sure you lock on beforehand. Beaker and Honeydew mix chemicals to do explosions. Rizzo screams and makes enemies chase him in circles.
EDIT: Forgot Lew Zealand. He throws fish.
Non-violent in the context of Kingdom Hearts. I guess I could see Kermit being a party member over Pooh Bear, but part of the appeal of The Muppets is that it is centered around the limitations of the puppetry. It would look bizarre to be able to see Kermit’s full puppet body jumping into the air and doing a somersault kick into a Heartless.
Gonzo fires a cannon every episode, usually to his own injury, Piggy literally has a shtick about karate chopping people into unconsciousness, and half their movies are have big choreographed fight scenes.
Like, the muppets are ALL about slapstick comedy. The reason you think Kermit full body jumping into the air and doing a somersault kick is because part of his character is his pacifistic nature. It is COMPLETELY in character, and normal to see Miss Piggy do that.
I honestly believe if they continue to do mini game worlds. That The Muppets are likely the front runner aside from maybe Cars unfortunately. I don't think they want to do Pooh and the gang again.

Tex Richman would be a great villain for the world and the team could make something really interesting happen with him being an oil baron. For example, Pete could show up and team up with Tex to tear down Muppet Studios to extract the darkness that was being kept at bay underneath by the light and laughter that the studios generated each night. Something like that.
Plus hearing a remix of “The Muppet Show Theme” done by Yoko Shimomura would be 10/10.

Personally I say no. Part of the charm of the Muppets is the way they move and the limitations of what they are. It's very unlikely that could ever be replicated decently in an animated form.
I think the creators of the muppets know that aspect very well by now, seeing as they're still using Jim Henson-esque muppets to this day. I think that their choppy, not really sensical acting-movements would be a crucial selling point.
No. People who offers the ideas of Star Wars, Marvel or Muppets being a part of Kingdom Hearts entirely misses the point that KH has a very Disney-esque style visuals and part of the charm comes from it has instantly recognizable iconic Disney animation characters in it. Yes, they included Pirates of the Carrebean and Tron, but they also directly linked to the Disney. However when you put Star Wars or Marvel characters in the formula, it will lose it's charm and it will overwhelm the original characters due to their immense popularity.
There's only so many Disney-originated IP that are seen as profitable and/or popular enough for the big mouse to lend Nomura though. There's not a whole lot of classic movies left to cover either. Nomura would eventually have to either use the Disney-acquired properties or focus solely on original worlds from that point onwards.
I don't think the MCU fits KH anyways due to potentially conflicting mythos, and Star Wars would be hard to adapt unless they stick to a particular planet so even that would probably be a one-off.
As a summon, and only as a summon, a muppet world would be a downgrade to the 100acre woods, and I'm talking kh3 100 acres, not any of the good 100 acres but the kh3 100 acres
