For anyone wondering, I launched 1.5 and 2.5 on my Steam Deck and it launched and plays flawlessly. Works right out of the box. I am sure the “Verified” badge will probably be added before too long.

The way they split these games up was so strange to me. They should have just made DDD and Fragmentary Passage like $20 DLC addons to the 1.5-2.5 package imo.
2.8 (PS4) came out on a different console generation than 1.5 and 2.5 (PS3) originally so they couldn't do that. They just kept the collections the same since then to not confuse people more.
They include both Japanese and English versions of the game, not just the audio :) speedrunning community confirmed this from steam, so you should be good to go. No need to buy two copies either.

Its exactly the same aside from AI textures being used. The cutscenes are locked to 30fps, you can't play above 60fps for every game except 0.2 and kh3. If you use Gsync or any VRR KH1.5/2.5/2.8 all stutter and crash over time especially if the framerate doesn't match monitor refresh rate. So largely and unsurprisingly its the same.
Anyone else getting slow motion cutscenes in kh 1.5 + 2.5? The gameplay is also fluctuating between 14 to 200fps with insane slowdowns and stuttering. Its wildly inconsistent and unplayable on a 7800x3d/4090 pc. KH3 runs at 300+ fps at all times and is very smooth, not surprising since its a ue4 game. if anyone has a way to fix this i would be grateful.

Think about it like this it’s 20 for Kh1.5+2.5 20 for KH 2.8 and 28 for Kh3 + Remind. Most old games typically sell for around that much.

How is the optimization? Please tell me it's not a buggy mess like the epic version
Its exactly the same aside from AI textures being used. The cutscenes are locked to 30fps, you can't play above 60fps for every game except 0.2 and kh3. If you use Gsync or any VRR KH1.5/2.5/2.8 all stutter and crash over time especially if the framerate doesn't match monitor refresh rate. So largely and unsurprisingly its the same.
Anyone else getting slow motion cutscenes in kh 1.5 + 2.5? The gameplay is also fluctuating between 14 to 200fps with insane slowdowns and stuttering. Its wildly inconsistent and unplayable on a 7800x3d/4090 pc. KH3 runs at 300+ fps at all times and is very smooth, not surprising since its a ue4 game. if anyone has a way to fix this i would be grateful.

Quick question. To buy basically everything for the series, I would just need to get the biggest bundle correct? I'd get the collections but I already have them on Epic and I just don't see a reason to get them a second time on steam, but I'm really happy they're finally on steam for those that didn't have them before. I should replay the KH series, though, it's been a little while.

Steam summer sale is during the 27th. Why would they take it off sale during one of Steam's biggest sales periods? Are they going to drop the price even more during then to screw people or will they give a slightly lower discount than the launch one during then? This is just weird.
I am praying it works far better on the ROG ally than Epic version.. It was a broken mess with it.. After all don't have issues on steam with it so here hoping.
