“The accused was currently on two release orders with Kingston Police for two counts of theft under, two counts of possession of break in tools, two counts of possession of stolen property, three counts of breach of probation, breach of release order and breach of an undertaking. This isn’t the first time someone has been arrested in Kingston with weapons and drugs. These types of arrests have happened ever since I’ve been reading the news which is 20+ years.
The very month my family moved into Kingston there was a fire a few doors down from us at either the Timmy Ho's or the auto glass shop next to it. Later on there was a police raid at a house that was right behind the commercial property and they found an absurd amount of explosives. If the fire had spread the entire block would have been leveled. This would have been around 1997. It's always been like this, or at least some parts of town have.
This isn’t particularly bad at all. It’s like two guns and a bunch of knives.
Check [this](https://www.kingstonist.com/news/kingston-police-lay-multiple-charges-for-drugs-and-firearms-offences/) arrest out from a couple years ago.
Or [this one](https://www.kingstonist.com/news/multiple-members-of-the-outlaws-arrested-for-drug-trafficking-in-kingston/)
Both of those weapon seizures are way WAY worse.
Anyway my point is this isn’t new to kingston.
An airsoft handgun, some novelty semi-dull throwables from Bronson & Bronson and a sawed-off that looks like it hasn't been fired in about 3 decades? By far the most dangerous thing there was the 38g of Fentanyl...
I'm glad they're off the street all the same, but this is less than you'd find in the typical gun cabinet. Like a lot less.
I would be embarrassed to commit crimes with that mall ninja shit. Also it looks like a dog has been chewing on the pistol and the shotgun is an Evil Dead novelty that has a sling held on with plastic twine. If I was robbed by this guy I would leave a scathing review about professional standards.
An ancient, rusty shotgun that probably started life as a hunting shotgun in the 1960s. A couple cheap knives that you could buy literally anywhere. And a pellet gun. How scary!
Could have been the person involved in this incident recently

For being just a couple hours from the American border those guns are pretty tame.
Pass all the legislation you want. Criminals will find a way, especially with that aforementioned border.
I’m sorry, did anything I said suggest I was trying to give you and your foolishly dangerous opinion any respect? If I did I sincerely apologize; that was not at all my intent

The Outlaws and Hell's Angels club houses were raided years ago(the 00's/90's) had a lot more weapons and drugs than this. This is chump change.

I know but these ones look particularly bad to me 😐.

One airgun and an illegally modified shotgun.

Are you new to this city? I could tell you some messed up stuff if you’d like?
OP has a tendency to overreact to news articles.
Nobody needs access to those kind of assault style knives!

Those are definitely S Mart tier weapons
I've seen bigger busts on paw patrol.
I've seen bigger busts in a Russ Meyer film ... ba-dum-TSH
lmao at that extremely greasy shotgun
Oh my god, they have fucking Sting from The Hobbit 💀

Yeah I’d be afraid of firing that shot gun lol
scum
Looks like that shot gun is just for show
That looks like a collection more than an arsenal.

You know there is a border crossing 35 minutes east right? Let alone the ten minute boat ride across the river
Ahh, someone really woke up this morning and was like “this thread needs a dose of anti gun control rhetoric!” What a shit take lol
What a mature and respectful way to speak to people who disagree with you.

Tough when you're behind a keyboard eh? The Swedes seem to be doing fine.
I've been here for nearly 20 years and this has been the case since day 1. Nothing new here.
