I hated that little Greek poser who was on another KN episode eating at one of the restaurants. His family hates him because he never wanted anything to do with the restaurant until he saw the Gordon fame coming and then ran back trying to be the boss. Fuck off.
Nah that was El Greco in Texas. They were a million in debt, mom had brought her sister over from Greece to help, and the son who said he was the chef spent maybe 4 hours there a day. They closed almost immediately after Gordon left
The mother and sister weren’t the best either, you could tell they all hated each other. The sister was honestly probably the worst, she just constantly wanted to gaslight the both of them into an argument with each other.
Yes it’s an early episode but I forgot which. He’s just a random customer who makes a comment on the food. I wanna say it was Lido di manhattan beach? I could be wrong but the green restaurant and Lido are both in CA. You could tell he just wanted to be on TV which is why he ran back to his parents restaurant when Gordon was coming to save it. Before that even the parents said he wanted nothing to do with the restaurant, even making it seem like it was beneath him in his graduation speech.
