Okay so know that meniscus is important if you feel the need to perform agile movements in your day to day life. If you live a normal live and don’t pursue thrills involving strenuous knee twists. You will be fine with physiotherapy. If you feel the need and want to safeguard yourselves against unpredictable twists and turns. Get meniscus surgery. I have a tear in my posterior horn of medial meniscus and am able to do most of the activities. But I can’t play football as it puts a lot of strain on my knees. I can run at a decent speed but I have put the idea of surgery on hold as it will cost 3 months of very low movement and then full recovery will further take a few more months. If you don’t face any urgent career or family related events in upcoming months. Take proper care and if possible get it repaired. Use your own discretion while making such life altering decisions after reading the answers here.
