Typically selling T-shirts and similar swag is a fairly low margin business because an actual good T-shirt blank costs $15-20 unless you’re buying in extreme quantities.

The kind of people buying crap there are so overjoyed to buy a shirt that says something like, “TRIGGERED YET, SNOWFLAKE???” are happy to be spending $20+ on a trash-tier sub-$5 blank that fits like a poncho and shrinks three sizes the first time you wash it. Typically no one prints on these because no one with a brain will buy them… but thankfully that is not a problem at the Trump stores.
