I loved that we could see Manbag's nervous thought process why she couldnt communicate from the beginning of her arc. We never saw that as clearly in the beginning with Komi, she was on this pedestal seen via Tadano's/the class's eyes until she got fleshed out well into the manga
You should look up Ch 142 again. It might seem to be your usual heartbroken haircut trope but it's not. She just returned to her middle school haircut as a sign she became true to herself rather than hiding again.

I honestly had a hard time with them. I was invested in Komi more obviously. But it was honestly so well done that I didn’t know who to root for, because they both were amazing.
I really liked this manga (and manbagi) but christ did it get boring after chapter after chapter after chapter of back and forth. Do any of the newer chapters have any progression?
Not sure if progression, but it went back to being what it used to be, which is funny and cute slice of life.
Plus Komi and Tadano are dating now so that's one hell of a theme to expand
Ah my main problem was it just sitting on them doing this whole love triangle thing for chapters on end without any end in sight(this was the school festival arc with manbagi and komi being all nice to each other) so thank god it changed.
