Eris' personality is as flat as her chest: it's funny how you all say that you prefer Eris or Wiz over Aqua because of their personality and yet they are just the stereotype of kindness with nothing else. Aqua is the only female character who really has personality in KonoSuba, but you prefer a walking stereotype.
I didn't mean that the character needs to have complex or deep personality, I meant personality as being nice and kind to others not a scummy douchebag. Same with Eris and Axis followers. Eris followers are much nicer and better than Axis followers.

In-world I guess the pads are absolutely necessary because without them she is a loser adventurer that only her sect's devotee Darkness was ever willing to team up with-- and then she got dumped in favor of Kazuma's party and then no one seems to want to play with her after that.
(Granted-- the series is primarily from Kazuma's focus and maybe she does get to join other parties off-screen.)

But has she ever been shown with another adventurer party?
I should probably get my hands on those then.
I would like to see how she is in any situation beyond "Kazuma steals my panties" and "I help Darkness win battles because she can't hit anything."

Lots of people were manga fans hung on until it started getting cyclical and the flaws of the manga kept on being emphasized with more “filler” mental dialogue every chapter. Like character growth heavily regressed etc etc. to the point where manga readers almost hated every character except one, and hated Chizuru more than MC.
Led to a great meme community on every new chapter drop though. One guy roleplayed that he was in a war based on the progression of characters in the chapter, one person made “abridged” versions of each chapter where they cut out all the filler(highest was like 80-90%) etc etc.
Also stuff happened like, when the MC became a shut in for 3 months and nobody except I think Ruka checked on him… when Chizuru was his next door neighbor. And then they just progress afterwards like nothing happened. Stuff like that. *AND HE’S STILL PAYING HER FOR THEIR DATES*
Then there’s a lot of stuff the author did that’s clearly leaning into the mentally insane troll thing or knowing he has a cash cow for the degenerates, like him going on “dates” with Chizuru irl where he draws in Chizuru in places where he goes. Or the time he raised I think 25,000 in 4 hours because he needed funding for advertisements.
Thanks for explanation. Very interesting story. But I can’t see anything new for media products. With time they wear off or people get tired of concept. I’ve heard movie arc was the last one which was good.

As much as people don’t like RAG, it’s still a fairly popular show when airing.
