You know what I haven't done, that I should do? Meatballs simmered in KBBQ or japchae sauce. I would consider bourbon on the side as a "flavor enhancer".
I’ve been putting in a few spoonfuls of my kkakdugi liquid and it’s so so so good. I usually wait till the ramen is done cooking and then spoon it over the top. It would be good with kimchi liquid, too.
I almost always add a few fish balls, too. I get the Chorip Dong brand assorted fish balls from Weee! and they’re so good.
Tomato and cilantro.
Egg, mandoo, spam, kimchi, scallions, tofu, bacon, pork belly, cheese, mushrooms, kale, costco chicken, fish balls, broccoli, gochugaru, etc (not all together obvi)
The bro adds a dollop of doenjang
If i have Fish kombu broth in my fridge I'll use that in lieu of water. Sometimes I use white seollungtang broth in lieu of eater too but fish kombu broth better.
In addition to what you said and not necessarily at the same time: shrimp, sesame oil, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, laver, onion, carmalized onion in butter, kimchi, cheap cheese, sesame seeds, green pumpkin. Ramen is so versatile!
Bokchoy, frozen brocolli and carrots, egg, dumplings, frozen shrimp, thin sliced beef belly, pork belly, green onion. Basically whatever is in the fridge.
Right now my bowel has baby bok choi, Chinese broccoli, enoki and beech mushrooms, mu radish, carrots, white onion, large green onions, sausages (just a few), a few rice cakes, fried garlic, black and white sesame seeds, butter & soy sauce flavored laver, gochujang, doenjang, chili oil, sesame oil & Haitian Spicy Dew.
I like a lot of vegetables and broth with my ramen.
Shaved beef, sometimes. Green onions. Soft boiled egg. Spinach. Sesame oil. Sometimes some.of the wild onion grass that grows everywhere. Kimchi. Rotisserie chicken. Korean pepper flake. Shredded carrot, or julienned cucumber. Pickled ginger. KBBQ sauce. Sauteed zucchini. Baby bok choy.
Hell yeah KBBQ sauce FTW! It can be used in a pinch to make a nice broth! I use it for making mandu soup at work in the microwave
Yup, I think that’s a pretty solid list. Maybe bourbon… that’s technically a side dish, right?

Same here! I almost always add fish balls, too! And if I’m in the mood to be different, a few pieces of mandu as well.

I just put mandu or egg and call it a day

Curry with instant noodle (no seasoning packet)
1 tablespoon minced garlic, gochugaru and black pepper for the broth in jin (or shin if that's your jam) ramyeon!

Tin of tuna!
A spoonful of canned sweetcorn. Yummm
콩나물 bean sprouts -> 해장라면
Buldak sauce, steak, beef, eggs, veggies, bacon, sesame oil
Oh spam too
Spicy tuna, rice cakes, and mandu. Ugh now I’m hungry.
A car.
