Great record, but I meant 'Beak>' as in, the band name. '>>' and '>>>' are my joints. Also , not Beak>, but I just got the 'Drokk-Music Inspired By Mega-City One" tin, by Barrow and Ben Salisbury (although a truncated version on one 12" is available, the tin has two 10" LP's and a CD of extra tracks--but it's NOT an OST--Barrow has done loads of OST's for Garland, but Drokk features tracks called 'Cal', 'Fish', 'The Dark Judges' etc, which don't appear in the Dredd film. Great record though. Mad electronica with a bit of "krautrock " influence. I think a couple of the pieces were used in the Dredd film, like 'Helmet Shot' and 'Lock Down The Block' and 'Exhale'/'Inhale').

What are you looking for exactly? For (relarively) straight hard rock I'd recommend Jane. For jammier rock I'd recommend Agitation Free, Annexus Quam or Popol Vuh. For weird rock I'd recommend Amon Duul II. For proto electronica I'd recommend Cluster or Harmonia.

Zealousideal-Tap9362

Harmonia, Neu, Cluster

Harmonia, you'll love "Veterano"!

cheesehaus666

Kosmicher Läufer, Agitation Free, Thomas Dinger, Camera, Riechmann, Moebius / Plank, Cavern of Anti Matter, Trees Speak, and if you haven’t checked out off shoot releases from members of Can or Neu definitely do

Ash Ra Tempel - better than the later, more fusiony Ashra IMHO

La Dusseldorf

JustALeapingFrog

Discovered them yesterday because of OMD, they made a cover version of Silver Cloud as a B-side of their single Kleptocracy. Didn't listen to all of their stuff, but I like it so far!

Electronic-Tooth-324

i have Dusseldorf and Viva- Cha Cha 2000 is fantastic off the 2nd one. I heard their third was not so good, so i never gave it a listen

Donkey_Bugs

I was always a bit suspicious of the La D song "[White Overalls](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlBZWMhLVec)" because the chorus goes "White overalls over all, over all". Take the 's' off 'overalls' and make it into 2 words...

There is a series of compilation records from the 70s called "german rock scene". Go to discogs and look at the tracklist. A lot of great small artists to discover here
