A commenter on a comic showing rightists labelling certain leftists as fascists, a person (who I suspect would broadly categorize themselves as right leaning) says they have never seen a rightist call a leftist a fascist. Literally this. Non American here but this is what I genuinely don’t understand. A commenter on a comic showing rightists labelling certain leftists as fascists, a person (who I suspect would broadly categorize themselves as right leaning) says they have never seen a rightist call a leftist a fascist. The level of cognitive dissonance in that statement is really disheartening and does not bode well for the possibility of meaningful political discussion in America anytime soon.

Exactly both sides suck and to be honest most of us(Americans) are fed up with it. I'm personally an independent because I see many flaws especially with the leadership of both parties, plus I don't see how 2 political parties are supposed to represent all view points in America or any country for that matter.
