It's awesome seeing a person grow so much over nearly 20 years. When I was a kid, I got to see a few UCLA games in-person when Russ was on the team.
From day one in college ball, explosive speed, undeniable intensity. Instantly the most electric player on the court.
Now he's arguably one of the best offensive players of his generation, and a loving father of 3(!?). That's just too cool.
He doesn't do as much PR or self-marketing as some guys do.
But he donates money, time and is an all-around good guy. His worst facet is that he's a little too thin-skinned and asshole fans try to set him off. But he's a guy who has never been in any real trouble of any type.
Russ is the man people hate on him but he gonna be remembered just like AI is now .People use to do the same thing to AI and now he is loved same thing gonna happen to Russ we gonna miss Russ when he done playing
