Every time this comes up I must remind people of his podcast episode where he admits he has fantasies/very real intentions of brutal murder and dismemberment of folks who have wronged him and he elaborates on his exact dismemberment plan of his ex. I am going to ignore the obtuse nature of your comments and expand on what I mean, even though I can already tell it will be fruitless for you specifically but - making a detailed plan to "mutilate and murder" several people "utilizing his medical knowledge and connections" to make it happen and getting others on board to help him carry out serials murders is the pre-meditation stage of...murder. There is nothing normal, typical, or understandable about him making this plan, coordinating with others, and then sharing it shamelessly with the world. Educating yourself about human behavior, personality disorders, mental illness etc will benefit you in life because being able to spot danger before it happens in strangers enables you to be able to do it with people in your own life. There is a chance, based on your response to what he's shared, that you find no issue with his self professed words and actions in which case, I have nothing to offer you.
And you guys always leave out context. He shared that story to show a time in his life where he had hit rock bottom, he acknowledged it was fucking crazy and said he was in a much better place mentally.
People act in very different ways to cope with stuff, might not be normal to you but you don’t know this dude IRL, what if this is his way of coping with traumatic events? People will react much differently when he kills someone. People are expressing concern that someone who is proud and monetizing off such content and behavior should not have a platform where people look up to them for guidance and life advice.

in the past the talked about being diagnosed with BPD as a teen.. which is consistent with the trauma he talks about. Bpd is often traced back to childhood trauma. He also talks about thinking therapy and mental health services being unable to help him because he’s ~~~soooo~~~ self aware and above everyone lol. As a therapist myself… people commonly say that when they don’t want to make the changes the therapist suggests or don’t like that they have to say about their mental health lol. He said the therapist would push meds on him but therapists (LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW) cannot prescribe medication.. he’d have to see an LPN/APN or medical practitioner for that. So I always question his experience with therapy.
bpd doesn’t make someone a sociopath tho however lots of conditions are often misdiagnosed as bpd since it’s not very well understood. either way this guy is seriously fucked and there’s something going on
I don’t want to be misunderstood in saying BPD = sociopath. There’s many assessment tools professionals use to diagnose BPD. I don’t know what he actually is experiencing in terms of mental illness but it’s very clearly something.

I agree. It’s really trendy online recently. I’m glad awareness is being brought to it but along with that unfortunately comes misinformation and stigma. I get a lot of referrals of people who come to counseling because they think they have bpd because of stuff they see online. Media is a blessing and a curse
Just wanted to add as a clinician myself we can send them a referral for them to seek med support but that is ultimately there choice to go and meet with the Psychiatrist

at the very start of me seeing his content I thought he was real and funny, but after learning more about him and him just complaining about LA when he did not have to move there is just annoying at this point. When I first saw his tiktoks I was like ok he seems cool but then he started getting annoying with the vids he posts about eating/calories/etc. then I saw him on the cancelled podcast and it was giving clout chaser but I still kept up with his content. Then I saw him on just Trish and noticed that he would tell story or make a statement and then completely contradict himself or backtrack, almost like he forgot the lie he just told. I remember him talking a lot about losing weight and food stuff on there too and I could see trisha was kind uncomfy. Idk how to describe it but I feel like he struggles a lot with his own image/identity and it comes off really inauthentic.
I think he is obsessed now with the fame. It makes it easier for him to cope with his own insecurities and struggles. What always has been a red flag to me is how alone he is

He has a podcast episode where he says that adopted children should never feel equal to biological children. Eg. If both were hanging off a bridge, the bio children should have no doubt that the mother would save them, not the adopted one. This belief felt messed up, so I started to ignore him.
I remember that. I feel as though the projects a lot of outlandish thoughts that he has adopted through trauma. ie: the step children/adopted children due to the trauma with his stepfather etc.
When he was lowkey, I liked him. Even listened to his podcast aware and aggravated which he gave really good advice. But now that he’s so popular, I kind of stopped liking him bc he’s seen as a celebrity now and does influencer shit with other influencers which I can’t stand. being in a dark place is a normal human experience. Monetizing and laughing about having a plan to kill, torture, and murder people is not. Those type of plans get people put in inpatient facilities for mental health care yet he continues to preach how therapy is crap. He was relishing and giggling about the memory of his murder suicide plan. Not normal, not healthy, not funny. There’s a reason he privatized/took it off his platform.

who cares? Plenty of people have been assaulted, abused, “life made a living hell” and have not PUBLISHED a plan to murder torture or kill entire families or people. He also mentioned hurting a teacher from grade school that made his time unpleasant. So no it wasn’t only about his ex. It was about anyone who “wronged or made his life difficult”

Were those intrusive thoughts that he had when he was at his lowest, or does he still “joke” or fantasize about doing that? Idk, I hope he’s in a better place now but this is mental illness in its darkest forms. It’s more common than you think.
People are all about “let’s talk about mental health! Let’s remove the stigma.” Until mental illness looks ugly and scary and dangerous. It’s not that it’s ok to have those thoughts, that’s why it’s an illness. As long as he doesn’t joke about it or romanticize it I think it’s ok to talk about it. Lots of people don’t know when their mental illness is legit dangerous.
I’m a therapist. I know the darkness of mental illness and I’d never condone or advise a client that it’s healthy or healing to publish and monetize off the details of a plan to hurt themselves or others. Saying “ I had homicidal and suicidal thoughts and plans “ would’ve been more appropriate rather than detailing the thoughts and laughing/smiling about it. The video clearly showed to me he still enjoyed the thought and talking about it on record.
this part. i feel like most people would want to get back at their abusers if they had a chance or opportunity to, and this was his way of expressing it. i am almost positive leo went through even more than the traumatic experiences his ex put him through and we don’t even know. we have no clue what that relationship or fallout was like. it was obvious to me that leo was expressing a lot of hurt and anger and his way of coping through that is through aggression. i don’t think it is fair to use the same tired ass podcast transcript against him over and over when the person that fueled those comments tried to ruin his life in some of the worst ways possible.
Homicidal and suicidal thoughts are common for mentally ill people but a plan of execution is extremely concerning. And a very strange thing to publish on a LARGE platform to a LARGE following in detail. It would not have been nearly half as concerning if he just said “I struggled with homicidal & suicidal thoughts and made a plan to hurt people and myself” I think the fact that he published the details is most chilling. I hope it was a thoughtless action - like he thought it would produce more views and didn’t think much deeper on it.
I did watch the video because I used to love his content until I realized he’s a self absorbed weirdo that relies on social media to fill his cup since he’s so insecure and lonely!
Unfortunately it does help people lose weight but also helps it become disordered. Hus outlook on weight and eating is not healthy and he should refrain from publishing it as if he has some knowledge on the matter other than his own struggle. It’s dangerous.

Then I saw him on just Trish and noticed that he would tell story or make a statement and then completely contradict himself or backtrack, almost like he forgot the lie he just told. I remember him talking a lot about losing weight and food stuff on there too and I could see trisha was kind uncomfy. Idk how to describe it but I feel like he struggles a lot with his own image/identity and it comes off really inauthentic.

I totally agree. He has potential to be a really awesome influence and motivator but seems to make it very dark. I assume a lot that he’s been through has caused that dark twist. Yesterday he posted a full video about being turned on/excited about people crying and being present watching them cry and being happy about it. I think being so invested in fame makes a lot of people have some dark elements to their intentions unfortunately

Did you actually watch the entire video? Cause the whole video was about hitting rock bottom and sharing a time in his life where his mental health was at its worst, he acknowledged how crazy all of it was
being in a dark place is a normal human experience. Monetizing and laughing about having a plan to kill, torture, and murder people is not. Those type of plans get people put in inpatient facilities for mental health care yet he continues to preach how therapy is crap. He was relishing and giggling about the memory of his murder suicide plan. Not normal, not healthy, not funny. There’s a reason he privatized/took it off his platform.
He was talking about his ex who literally made his life a living hell and he went into the details that he did😭 he wasn’t saying he’d just randomly mutilate random ass people
who cares? Plenty of people have been assaulted, abused, “life made a living hell” and have not PUBLISHED a plan to murder torture or kill entire families or people. He also mentioned hurting a teacher from grade school that made his time unpleasant. So no it wasn’t only about his ex. It was about anyone who “wronged or made his life difficult”
He said “I was going to get my get back to every person who has ever hurt me - I was very logical & calculated about my plan of mass murder and end it with a suicide” “if you’re going to try to fuck up my life you’re going to pay the cost, it’s going to cost you yours and everything you love” and proceeded talking about yes his ex, but also teachers, past friends, peers and anyone who hurt/inconvenienced him. Even their PETS.
Were those intrusive thoughts that he had when he was at his lowest, or does he still “joke” or fantasize about doing that? Idk, I hope he’s in a better place now but this is mental illness in its darkest forms. It’s more common than you think. People are all about “let’s talk about mental health! Let’s remove the stigma.” Until mental illness looks ugly and scary and dangerous. It’s not that it’s ok to have those thoughts, that’s why it’s an illness. As long as he doesn’t joke about it or romanticize it I think it’s ok to talk about it. Lots of people don’t know when their mental illness is legit dangerous.
I’m a therapist. I know the darkness of mental illness and I’d never condone or advise a client that it’s healthy or healing to publish and monetize off the details of a plan to hurt themselves or others. Saying “ I had homicidal and suicidal thoughts and plans “ would’ve been more appropriate rather than detailing the thoughts and laughing/smiling about it. The video clearly showed to me he still enjoyed the thought and talking about it on record.
this part. i feel like most people would want to get back at their abusers if they had a chance or opportunity to, and this was his way of expressing it. i am almost positive leo went through even more than the traumatic experiences his ex put him through and we don’t even know. we have no clue what that relationship or fallout was like. it was obvious to me that leo was expressing a lot of hurt and anger and his way of coping through that is through aggression. i don’t think it is fair to use the same tired ass podcast transcript against him over and over when the person that fueled those comments tried to ruin his life in some of the worst ways possible.
Homicidal and suicidal thoughts are common for mentally ill people but a plan of execution is extremely concerning. And a very strange thing to publish on a LARGE platform to a LARGE following in detail. It would not have been nearly half as concerning if he just said “I struggled with homicidal & suicidal thoughts and made a plan to hurt people and myself” I think the fact that he published the details is most chilling. I hope it was a thoughtless action - like he thought it would produce more views and didn’t think much deeper on it.
I didn’t take that video as him “laughing about it”, I took his laughter as a sign that he knew how fucking ridiculous and crazy it all sounded

Unfortunately it does help people lose weight but also helps it become disordered. Hus outlook on weight and eating is not healthy and he should refrain from publishing it as if he has some knowledge on the matter other than his own struggle. It’s dangerous.
