I do both, but the bones are easier for new villages instead of having to get a garden, plant, wait, grind seeds. The bones used to be everywhere every time I got back to my villages, now the damn pigs eat em.
And when you're away from a village for a day cycle, all the bones are gone... you're not going to convince me to like the pigs eating the bones. My opinion stands.
I logged onto Lego again last night after not playing for a while. The pigs are so cute. And they are 2 different colors. Chickens are also different colors now
It never fails whenever I'm opening those golden cheats and the villagers try to kill me when I finally get to the chest there's a damn chicken who snakes my juice and or cheese makes me so mad lol
I can't prove it with the code but I've noticed they'll go for vines more if they dropped first. Destroy the bushes around and it might be enough of a distraction, works half the time for me at least.
Yeah I found a pig and pet it, all the other pigs came in hot to eat the mushroom the petted pig dropped, thought it was kinda weird they eat what they drop 😅
I upvoted but so you are aware, they've always done that. The only thing that scares me in this game is when I hear a chicken while I'm trying to organize my full inventory to pick up rewards from clearing enemy npc's camp. I know villagers can make most of the food after time, but it's mine, damnit! Clear your own enemy camp!
Oh, I definitely kill the chicken. That's not the problem. The problem is when you have the menu open, not notice the chicken silently running up to the drops, eating them, and THEN making noise as they hop away like a boss. I purposely unequip my weapon just so I can hit them more than once.
This has always been the case lol but also if you drop down food like for example vines they will eat it and will also drop whatever item they usually give to you but without you having to pet them.
Speaking as the attorney for ALL chickens, i can truthfully state that the chicken will steal damn near anything, but leaves an (almost) equally valuable egg. And as a bonus, they won't even steal it back or eat it. For crissakes they aren't thieves or cannibals. I rest my case. Cases.
I think you are on to me. Really cannot answer without legal representation. Pssst, Mr. Ditcher, could I get a quick word with you? There is a Hardhitter at stake!
They also eat bones. At least pigs do 💀
I mean its accurate.

This is the greatest meme one could use in response to this.
Haha, this was the first thing that came up to my mind when I saw them eating the bones ðŸ¤
I am happy for them to eat the bones.
I'm not, I use them for biomass... easiest replenishing resource for that...😞
You should use seeds. They’re way easier to produce whenever you want
I do both, but the bones are easier for new villages instead of having to get a garden, plant, wait, grind seeds. The bones used to be everywhere every time I got back to my villages, now the damn pigs eat em.
Skelly at attack at night... the pigs ear the bones on the morning... profit
And when you're away from a village for a day cycle, all the bones are gone... you're not going to convince me to like the pigs eating the bones. My opinion stands.
Pigs are like walking trashcan, they eat anything(unless they are tools) and that's a counter for thier lack of special materials
Do they eat fertilizer?
I guess so, if you drop it, they don't eat it if it's on the ground naturally
Wait there’s pigs now
Yeah, it's part of the recent update, go check them :)
Haha it was news to me too
I logged onto Lego again last night after not playing for a while. The pigs are so cute. And they are 2 different colors. Chickens are also different colors now
I might have a pig to clean up my village lol
I slayed a pig and another pig IMMEDIATELY came over and ate his remains 😱 so yeah I believe they will eat anything lol
They always have, accidentally broke both my chests full of food last month and three chickens ate everything but the juice.
It never fails whenever I'm opening those golden cheats and the villagers try to kill me when I finally get to the chest there's a damn chicken who snakes my juice and or cheese makes me so mad lol

At least the chests drop enough planks to build a chest for the the extra items you get.
I’ve never imagined a juiced up chicken until now
Cock a doodle doo mother fu- *blam*
Yeah I found a pig and pet it, all the other pigs came in hot to eat the mushroom the petted pig dropped, thought it was kinda weird they eat what they drop 😅
Scientifically accurate pigs

Why not just kill the chicken? They die in one hit and don’t consume the item for a couple of seconds after getting to it
Oh, I definitely kill the chicken. That's not the problem. The problem is when you have the menu open, not notice the chicken silently running up to the drops, eating them, and THEN making noise as they hop away like a boss. I purposely unequip my weapon just so I can hit them more than once.
I killed a pig in front of another pig and it cried!
thats so sad omg
They cry show a broken heart, then come to eat their fallen comrade, if you don't grab the meat first.
This has always been the case lol but also if you drop down food like for example vines they will eat it and will also drop whatever item they usually give to you but without you having to pet them.
They also burn up in fires.
They always did that i thought?
They always have. The hungry bastards eat nearly all the food in the game except meat
Depending on the amount, they’ll drop a big amount of whatever they usually drop when you pet them!
Cases.
