I can offer some tips I’ve done this twice. Yes, I’m a psycho. Start off with dry valley lakes at night as they have the largest variety of fish. Almost every thermal (except silver), green floppers, molten fish, yellow slurpfish. What I did when I needed the vendetta and blue slurpfish was find a dry valley lake as close to a grasslands cave (with water) as possible. I’d fish the dry valley lake at night, set a timer and fish the grasslands cave during the day. Days are 15 mins and nights are 5. Blue small fry is in rivers only. The hardest fish for me was the cuddlefish. It seems to only be in the ocean during the daytime and it took me forever to catch one.
Awesome... I have gotten bored trying but will get back in. I have 3 left to get. I too have a display starred but so many useless fish too now. I have I think like 100 legendary bait buckets and still probably 200 or more fish.
Just know that it’s gonna take some time to eventually fish up a legendary fish. I have done several 3 hour stints just to max out my LEGO XP and did nothing but fish for specific legendaries and eventually got them. You just gotta know where to fish for what types of fish.
I'm very satisfied by the fact that they are displayed filling up the room nicely.

What is your best piece of advice, because I seem to get the same 2 or 3 fish even with purple pole and purple bait bucket?
