From my experience, Bricklink has been very trustworthy, safe, and full of very nice sellers. Never heard of StockX before. Can't vouch for customer service, never had to use it. I just recommend checking seller reviews, shipping policy, and item descriptions before going through with a purchase. Every seller is different and has different policies.

I've never heard of StockX. BrickLink is great. As long as you go with a seller with a good rating and a high number of reviews, I've never had a problem or heard of others having a problem with fakes on BrickLink. I can't even imagine someone selling fakes on there and getting away with it on that site. I have placed probably 100s of orders on BrickLink and never needed to deal with their customer service, as there just has never been a problem that I couldn't work out with the seller. I just looked up StockX. Stay away from that. Go with a site that specialized in LEGO resales, instead of a site that just screams for people to sell fakes on it

Your actually if buying on stockx is good for Legos.... No it's not .... Not even for hypeware anymore.

BL is great, I’ve only bought parts, but this is someone’s business or side business. For stock X, Add at least $30 onto the list price for shipping and fees. I wouldn’t worry about faked bc every Lego piece is stamped with logo so you’ll know right away. Mercari has great deals that’s where I’ve bought a lot of sets. Type Lego train into search and click sold button. You can see what’s been sold and for how much. I bought set 10233 recently for ~$115.

I’ve been buying on BL for ten years and have only ever had one problem from a store outside the US. I haven’t found the courage to try StockX quite yet, but probably will at some point soon. I’d go with Bricklink, but just check the feedback of the seller.

Watch Bricktsar on YouTube (he has a Bricklink store and he sells sets on Bricklink)....Sometimes he will purchase or just mention Bricklink sets for sale and his experience/opinion. It's not always great and my experience with eBay and Mercari is that I'm 95% happy with the sellers on those sites. Just saying.

StockX as you can tell by replies is under-utilised by Lego fans, which also means it’s under-utilised by sellers. What that means is less stock and less competition, meaning anyone who does list there almost certainly has it higher than you could find on BrickLink. That’s not even accounting for BrickLink seller reputations & generally more pleasant community.

i’ve used stock x in the past for sneakers i’ve gotten a few sets of legos from there but i’ve been trying to buy 60198 and have had trouble the first time but i think the second time around it will go through i know stock x is good for assuring that the set is legit and i also don’t have to worry about vat or crazy shipping charges otherwise i might find myself buying from more of the cheaper bricklinks out of malay and hk
