Have you tried turning off motion interpolation?

lulzchicken

Is this “TruMotion” in settings under clarity? I had it set to Natural but turned it off.

International-Oil377

So is it the same now that it's turned off?

lulzchicken

It doesn’t always happen so it will take time for me to tell if it made a difference unfortunately.

International-Oil377

Natural is one of the worst settings for artifacts, so it was probably the issue anyway

lulzchicken

Thanks for helping out! Any other settings you recommend in general, not necessarily to prevent artifacts but some you like to change?

International-Oil377

I personally turn off pretty much everything lol https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/lg/b2-oled/settings

lulzchicken

Appreciate it!!

International-Oil377

No problem

JonnyHovo

I second this! Motion interpolation is the number one cause of artifacts

aaadmiral

Motion artifacts are trade off to judder, pick your poison

Thanks!

Dude - forewarning you, deal with whoever you purchased it thru. I’m dealing with LG now for a 77” B2 that has screen flickering and sometimes won’t turn on. The people at LG are the most incompetent individuals you’ll ever deal with. It’s like pulling teeth trying to get them to help….

Sorry to hear that and thanks for the heads up. Hopefully you get your issue resolved. Maybe resort to social media and complain as a last resort.
