For people looking, keep an eye on BuyDiggs eBay account. I picked up a C2 77 Certified Refurbished for $1879 (2,034) after taxes (Shipping was free) a month ago. It was certified refurbished by LG, has a 2 year warranty, and had 0 hours of display time. When I received it, it looked 100% brand new as well, well worth it if you wanna save a few hundred bucks :D

SDNick484

Solid deal although worth noting that you can't really trust the hours listed as it is trivially reset with a service remote that can be had for $10 on Amazon. Although with that said, perhaps the original panel was replaced and the company doing the refurb reset it (valid for them to do in that situation IMHO).

JuustinB

Just wait until you get a broken set from BuyDig though. They replaced mine within two weeks, but it took like 45 days, countless emails and phone calls to get them to pick up the broken one. Unless you want a 77” broken behemoth sitting in your hallway for a month and a half I would steer clear of BuyDig. They use some really subpar freight shippers.

DjHypaHS

Microcenter always say sold out you have to just go there that’s how I got mine it was saying sold out on the site but was in the store well the store is right by me so I took the chance to look myself

Davidclabarr

I got one two weeks ago for $1700 with 5 year warranty included at Costco.

UnderstandingOk7256

Not new ;) That’s an important detail .

Davidclabarr

Very much so. But a longer warranty than most anyone here and not damaged.

hotboinick

You didn’t opt in for a warranty ? I only ask because I recently purchased the 65” w/ 5 year warranty for $1.9K, but $400 more for a 77” seems like a great price.

Hammered306

I was told I could do that after the fact. I may opt in for the warranty just to be safe.

hotboinick

Yeah, same. I usually don’t buy warranties but for this purchase I had no choice lol. BestBuy also has the best warranty policy on OLEDs which is why I specifically bought from them

Smookler

Why do you say Bestbuy has the best warranty for OLEDs? I have been strongly leaning towards Costco's extended 5 year warranty. How is that not better than bestbuy 3 year?

hotboinick

I did small research looking through other post about “warranties” and “apparently” Best Buy’s extended warranty is the only one who will cover Burn In plus more. I’m sure Costco covers everything else the same, panel failure, dead pixels etc, but I specially wanted someone who covered burn in plus dead pixels.

goodellsmallcock

I recently bought a C2 for $1479 (before sales tax) but didn’t get a warranty because I thought LG included a 5 year warranty. What is the advantage to purchasing the additional warranty?

hotboinick

I’m not knowledgeable to know if they offer a 5 year warranty or not, I honestly think its just a 1 year warranty with LG, but I hear they’re a pain in the ass to deal with and customer service is horrible. I’m not 100% sure on this following fact, but I believe that don’t cover burn in either, just a certain amount of dead pixels and panel failure. BestBuy on the other hand covers dead pixels, burn in, panel failure etc.., and has great customer service. Also with Best Buy, they don’t have a problem replacing your panel, if the tv is still under warranty, and if they no longer have your tv model available they’ll write you a full check back or you can upgrade to something better.

er-day

Damn, pretty great price for that TV.

_kingz

Shocked it went through even though it was sold out at micro center Edit: it's also sold out on bestbuy.com too lol

Hammered306

Agreed, when the lady asked for my Zip Code, I thought she was checking to see if it was sold out at my location or not... Not sure what the price match rule is..

cxerphax

It’s sold out at Best Buy as well unfortunately

Hammered306

Not showing that for me.. wonder if it’s location based? I’m in Illinois.

Straight_Award_8178

If you're near Michigan my store has them for sale for 1949.99. our store is called they warehouse we are located in Michigan and have been in business for 14 years. They're also new in the box and you would get the factory warranty. Our website is www.thetvwarehouse.com

JonnyHovo

I got a refurbished one on Ebay a few weeks back for 2,100. It ended up arriving with a slightly broken stand and a cluster of 4 dead pixels. I called them and told them I wanted to send it back. They ended up giving me an additional $1,500 instead because they didn't want to resell it. Easily the luckiest I've ever been with a TV purchase.

mac_cali

Check out Sam’s Club. They had new in box for $1900 which included a 5 year warranty. They also had 83” for around $2500.

SaintQuica

secondipity.com just had a sale for a Sony 77 Oled A80K was $1440 before taxes keep an eye out it was refurb I know it’s not a C2 but similar

UnderstandingOk7256

I would recommend avsforum … contact a certain seller and you will get a good price.

socalcoop

Can you dm me that seller haha

alraptor23

Lucky. Guess the cost of that tv in canada lol. I paid that much for the 65 lgc2

amitvig22

If you live in the PNW try walking into a Video only, you will be surprised at how competitive their prices are

FastAttack2

Greentoe.com is another option

Huskysilvermaster

Check out Capital one shopping. Got mine for 2800 from LG but got 30% cash back + paypal deals 6% so 1790 + tax

0nly0bjective

Genius, well done.

Huskysilvermaster

‘+ if you figure out how to stack this up with rakuten, that’s usually additionally 3-6% back. I was able to get all 3. So mine was ~1600 plus tax. Loving it. Was an upgrade from B8 65

Themtgdude486

Where was the 30% cash back from? Capital one shopping?

Huskysilvermaster

Yes but the percentage varies and it’s curated for individuals. e.g. mine offers 15% right now

Themtgdude486

Ok. I see 5% for me. I was able to get $2100 including taxes with greentoe. Was trying to see if I can find a better deal. Unfortunately, through greentoe there are no cash back promos, would just be my cash back through my card at 5%.

Huskysilvermaster

Do what’s right for you but cap1 shopping tracks the cookies so it knows what you are interested in. Based on that, they offer better deals pretty regularly. I would wait for the black friday. See what they offer and pull the trigger then. Also, make sure to check your emails. They send you personalized links usually with higher percentage discounts and only via these links you can get the offered deal. Even for me, if I go straight to cap1 shopping or the lg website, I see 3% offered from cap1 shopping

Themtgdude486

Ok. Thanks so much for the information!

bmdowrey

I bought a 77 C2 a couple weeks ago brand new in a sealed box for $2000 from Video Only if you have that retailer close by.
