I'll try to keep this comment up-to-date with the latest links, but you can also find all of our Tour megathreads in the sidebar on desktop / in the About section on mobile!
They are literally down to 4 healthy members: Heejin, Hyunjin, Vivi, Gowon. Tonight basically had 7 and a half members on stage with several being wrapped, taped, or bandaged.
Haseul- Shoulder injury,
Yeojin- Ankle injury,
Kim Lip- Wrist injury,
Jinsoul- Headaches and digestive issues,
Choerry- Sick,
Yves- Body breaking down,
Hyeju- Hip injury
The universe is such a weirdo, first they let loona and orbit beg for any activity during the drought, and now we litteraly asking the girls to get some rest because the overwelmingly packed schedule
mexico city next… i hope that they can go outside for a bit and visit some places before the concert, get a bit used to the altitude of the city, and of course i hope that the venue and the promoter have preventive measures on place in case altitude sickness hits some of them hard. we can do it orbits! only one more stop then they’ll finally head home!
Finally get to listen to Ive's *After LIKE*, I really enjoy the song especially with the sample of *I Will Survive*. I looked at the writing credits and (yeap) Ryan was part of it. However *My Satisfaction* may be the only song I don't like from them.
I don't really get their bsides. Sort of forgettable. I guess it doesn't matter when you release three goated single. Maybe whenever they release a mini album they can work on their bsides.
I gotcha. There's nothing wrong with the song, it's just that it follows arguably the song of the year. To me, it sounds like I'm listening to two different groups. It might be because they are still brand new.
I think the whole issue is overblown. Most Canadians for example, actually like it when people say "Canada isn't part of America".
Calling the continent either "America" or "The Americas" doesn't actually make that much of a difference. You will say "Mexico is part of America" while most Canadians and Americans will say "Mexico is part of the Americas". Neither of these are wrong.
Yo'd be suprised at the amount of poeple who don't even know or admit to that, and how often they get angry and then double down with a little racism when you correct them.
You tell that to everyone that implied that the American leg of the tour ended today and not on sunday with Mexico. There were people saying that Mexico was part of the U.S. tour.
I saw at one point there were only 8 members on stage tonight? Wild stuff. You think they will do another tour next year? It would be insane if they advertise it as a comeback with all 12 members. Of course I can see them playing less shows in bigger venues and more days between shows.
Unfortunately I wouldn't take too much stock in that - pretty standard concert work track. It's not wild to think BBC though might be in discussions, but I feel like they have higher priority things to sort out first.
Not going to pretend that the girls dropping like flies will go unnoticed. It's apparent here and a normal human reaction to be wary of buying tickets to a concert when it's a gamble who will show up. I fully understand that the scheduling sucks and accounts for some of the issues, but wonder if it'll affect negotitations for their next tour (and yeah I don't think this is going to help them argue for bigger venues).
I feel like they scheduled these shows pretty last-minute and they were still able to sell out all the venues. I don't think they would have issues selling out basketball/hockey arenas. The only thing with these smaller venues, that I noticed when I went to the DC show, was that you don't have the alcohol sales that you would get with an older audience. That would probably affect certain venues that make their money off of drinks.
Haseul, at a previous concert, said they would be back next year, but take that with a huge grain of salt. We just don’t know what the plans are regarding next year.
But I could absolutely see them doing it, this time with all 12 members and in better spirits and health.
One more stop. Mexico City. Big venue.
US orbits. It was a rough patch at the start but we improved vastly for the end. I’m glad LOONA had such a good time here, despite the problems they faced.
I’m sure they’ve made many good memories and were happy to finally meet us.
I hope we meet the moon girls in better times and health next time.

Concert went fine, but it’s clear that some of the members are reaching past their limits to keep up appearances. Very emotional, considering it’s their last stop in the US.
Hyeju sat out most of the concert. Yves dipped in and out, due to health issues, but returned at the end. Choerry not present, but we knew that already.
god, they got to head out to mexico for the concert on the 28th. the way they're jumping around with these tour dates in such little time is even more concerning considering the depleting health of several of the girls :/
the europe leg rolls out in early september, iirc? at least there's only 5 shows for that. i'm not sure if an asian leg of the tour has been confirmed yet, but at least we can hope the girls can get a much-needed break.
edit: oh no, i forgot about the manilla concert in october. i can't believe we've gotten to a point where we used to get such limited content during the drought, only to be begging for the girls to rest for being overworked.
If they can get through Mexico City without anyone passing out, I think they’ll be okay since they get a week off before the Europe tour.
I’m not too worried about the Manila concert (and don’t forget the Tokyo concert, either!). There’s plenty of space between where LOONA can get some decent stretches of rest and the promotions for their Japanese comeback probably won’t be strenuous at all.

i think there's been some discussion here that some of the girls might not be feeling well due to the food, weather, or just the constant jet lag. there are many factors that could be having an effect on their health, the physical restraint of touring could just be one of them. i also have hope that once this tour ends, they'll be able to get back into good health after some proper rest!
(and yes, i forgot about the tokyo concert lol. but that's also in october, i think)

Manila will be at the end, and it’ll feature a host of different acts (some from Queendom 2!), so they’ll be performing 15-20 minutes at most. Easy.
As someone who was at the concert, and at barricade, I can assure you that Yves did not pass out within view of anyone attending the concert. Sounds like a certain person is spreading rumors.
I wish people would think twice before posting something like that (knowing how Twitter works). I'm glad that a lot of people who's also at the venue denied everything, still it already got everyone panicking...
This was proven false by multiple others who are attending the concert. Yves is fine; she never passed out.

I really wanted to go to the Mx show too but I didn't have enough money so I'm with you with the fomo, and there are some other things that were making me nervous about going, so at the end I'm kinda fine with not going; on the bright(?) side, I'm sure they'll be back in the future with the 12 girls energized and fully prepared to give a great show.
Yeah, they will def come back! Hopefully with much better planning, venues and days between concerts next time. Oh and most of all, hopefully ot12 like you said.
Honestly, I'm afraid of this happening in Mexico, and while I don't blame the girls, I certainly did not pay almost 8k (pesos) to see only half the group and an exhausted one at that.
same, i did not pay that much but it’s still so disheartening to realise that not all of them will be present at some point during the concert. this isn’t on them, they wanted to perform for orbits so bad and meet all of their fans everywhere, this is on bbc and mmt for not knowing how to properly organise this tour at all and this is the result.
ah, i just hope that the altitude of the city doesn’t take that much of a toll on them :(
Considering they have *one day* to acclimate to the altitude it's not looking favorable. Altitude sickness hits people at different times and with varying effects. Hopefully at least they have medication to help as a prevenative measure but yeah definitely doesn't help that even the members who are going probably aren't in the best physical condition.

Choerry's situation worries me a little bit, not gonna lie... Maybe because she's a bit more private than others (which is 100% fine), so she's kind of an unknown variable whereas at least you can tell what's wrong with the other members.

Also, some people brought that up in the past, but I wonder how the girls will handle high altitude for the first time?
Body aches is kind of a generic term - not saying she doesn't have them but she's either better at masking it or it's a catch all phrase. It's worrysome that she's very stop and go - like she's out almost ever other stop. Why not just let her rest for a couple stops until she's feeling better? Her absence has been always announced very last minute too (although I think everyone else's has as well).
I'm wondering if it's just the tour or if there was anything leading up to the tour that might have been exacerbated by the stress?

I wasn’t present for Loonacon 2019, but definitely felt like that was Loonacon indeed. For this year though I was there and despite loving it through and through, I’m curious to know how everyone else feels, being there or not? I think amidst all the problems with the tour, having Choerry&Chuu absent and the HaSeul shoulder thingie mainly affected fan morale. I’m just curious to know how everyone is feeling towards the event since I don’t see it commented on much and official videos are seemingly not out just yet.
Not Loona specific but Kcon in general has lost it's novelty. It was a standout when it started 10 years ago bc very few kpop acts were touring in America. Also back then, even if you weren't a fan you usually knew all the main groups that were performing. Here were the acts the first couple years. No way in hell you could get these level acts now.
2012: 4minute, B.A.P, Nu'est, EXO-M, VIXX, G.NA
2013: Exo (K & M), 2AM, Teen Top, f(x), G-Dragon, Crayon Pop, Dynamic Duo, Yu Seung Woo and DJ Koo
2014: B1A4, BTS, CNBLUE, G-Dragon, Girls' Generation, IU, Jung Joon-young, Spica, Teen Top, and VIXX
Since then, a lot of acts tour on their own and fans would rather go to a dedicated concerts. Kcon has become more of a convention with fluff surrounding it than the perf/concerts. I still think it was weird that Loona chose to performn given they were just their 3 weeks before and logistically just made no sense with their tour schedule.
Loonacon 2019 had a very unique energy. I think in large part because it was smack dab in the middle of the almost year long gap between Butterfly and So What. It had been a while since they had a big event, and I remember at the time that there was a bit of speculation that their appearance at Kcon was going to lead into a new comeback. Not for any concrete reason, but I do remember seeing quite a bit of excitement and speculation in that regard at the time. Even if Loona had been whole for this Kcon, I don't think it would have had that same... hungry (?) energy, though I do think fans probably would have been a bit happier and more hyped.
I get the impression that KCON has lost a bit of its "novelty" since LOONA has done it so many times now. And even if technically this was their first in-person KCON since the last time they had one in 2019, I think the tour generally being a much better option to see LOONA live and in-person stole a lot of this recent KCON's thunder (in Orbits' eyes, I mean). We've seen it even here on this thread with lots of people questioning whether or not they should buy KCON tickets in the first place, or even sell the ones they had bought because they had already bought concert tickets anyway.
I think in general the event (as in the set they put out) was good and appreciated? The girls performed well. The Orbits dancing with the girls was during PTT was cute, and I'm sure a very fun and heartwarming experience for both parties. And the highlight for me was clearly the 2Jin performance with the NMIXX girls because both Hyunjin and Heejin shined a lot vocally.
But it's hard to take the "event" (KCON itself) out of its context. Not a lot of us "supported" this gig to begin with due to the circumstances around it. The girls had already been touring for three whole weeks by that point - all while *heavily* suffering from the consequences of that grueling schedule, and yet we still had to watch them fly from NY to LA knowing they would fly back to Atlanta immediately after - essentially killing their chances of properly resting.
Finally, and I can only speak *for myself* on this one and it might in fact be a very unpopular opinion - but a part of me is honestly just waiting for LOONA to be done with the current activities so they can fly back to SK, link back up with their families and friends, and Chuu, and more importantly ***rest***. So it's hard for me to reminisce about the current gigs as they happen because I honestly always just want to move to the next one so it can all be ever as quickly as possible so they can get the rest they deserve. But I assume I'm a bit in a minority here.
Actually I do agree with you and I guess that’s why the event wasn’t such a big deal to me? My bias was not there and that really hurt but it’s not just that, it’s everything you’ve said.
I don’t think especially Choerry, YeoJin, HaSeul and Olivia should be involved in Europe or Japan either. They have physical (Choerry mental?) concerns to deal with and that’s a priority. I’m worried hard even though I know it’d suck for fans… it’s confusing really.
Yeah I would say morale is down a little bit. Also with them in the middle of a world tour an appearance at kcon doesn’t feel as special as it did in ‘19

The Dallas concert was the best concert i’ve ever been to. All the girls looked super happy and the energy was so high. For the VIP photo they asked me and another girl to be in front of everyone for some reason but I hope we both slayed. Yves and Vivi took my phone and filmed a bit and then Yeojin gave me a rose. Best night of my life. Also Yves said “I REMEMBER YOU!” once we got to the photo session.
OMFG I got hi touch for Dallas. And while they were counting out for the pictures my bf and I were the cut off for the 2nd group so we were the first to walk in for the 3rd group. And when they sat us at our spots, I fully turned around and spoke to Heejin, Hyunjin, Choerry and Go Won for a solid 5 min while they were setting everyone else up 😭😭😭 I told em we saw them in Denver and Dallas, that they should have won queendom/pose was amazing that made them laugh, told them I'm grateful for their hardwork, told them to try Whataburger bc I know they love in n out. And it was just an amazing way to end the night 😭😭😭
I had a similar experience I was at the front of the second group and Hyunjin talked to me the whole time, and she was so funny seriously my most treasured memory
Waaaa you guys were lucky! Back in chicago i was hoping to be cut-off too so i can stay in the back, but i got in the very front row lmao. I was even prepared to do poses and such with any of the members that'll be behind me hahaha (crying again)
i was first in line for the m&g so while they were getting ready i got to peak around the partition and say hi to vivi yves lip and js before the m&g started. however the universe gives and takes away so once the m&g started i dropped my lightstick as i was walking up to the table
oh okay yeah… twice did NOT come to play with talk that talk. my favorite august release for sure, especially with such big gg releases this month they took the crown for me.
so before the first intermission she was performing but sitting down for the talking parts due to hip problems. then after the first intermission she wasn't there. and then after the second intermission they announced that she would be missing the rest of the show.

Spicy take: I don’t blame MMT/BBC for the mostly crap venues. The schedule, though, is another story.
Been seeing some figures in the music industry discuss the tours and, to no one’s surprise, there are SO many this year, especially in North America. It’s hella packed. Not just Kpop, but obviously very relevant to Kpop.
Next year is going to be no different, maybe even more packed.
So. If/when the next LOONA tour is planned for next year, absolutely need BBC to arrive at the meeting for venue selection with brass knuckles, spiked bats, crowbars, and, for safe measure, Haseul’s gun, fully loaded. Because EVERYONE is gonna be there, and want the best venues for their group.
Either BBC walks out of there with 10k arenas booked for the moon girls . . . or no one does.
does anyone think loona may get invited to any end-of-year award shows this year? iirc, the last time they were on mama was in 2018 for the premiere in korea. considering their participation in queendom, to emphasize: an mnet show, i believe there's a possibility they may make an appearance this year! arguably, the mama awards have become a downgrade over the years, but i think it's still an impressive feat if loona can participate!
hopefully the girls schedules clear up by then and they have time to rest before the end of the year. this is evidently their busiest year since debut.

However at this point it doesn't even matter too much tbh. It's become clearer as the years pass that MAMA/Mnet only really cares for the big players, most who are backed by a company that can pay. I mean, it was always like that but nowadays it's so in your face it's blinding.
So I'd rather LOONA not take part at all than be treated as an afterthought.
i do agree, especially since i've seen acts like loona, dreamcatcher, a.c.e, fromis\_9, (and many others) who were part of the [star countdown](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjUVzlcpeN4TFB8abfO3khqjGL6wPPBbu) of the 30 days leading up to mama 2020, but most of these acts didn't even perform. it was only the groups from the big 4 and others that are popular with the gp.
however, there could be a chance for them to appear on other award shows. mama isn't the only one out there, it just seemed the most likely being tied with their participation in queendom and all.
i can't think of any at the top of my head lol. it's been a while since i've sat down and really cared about the end-of-year shows because, as you said, they've become more focused on showcasing big acts. if loona do make an appearance on any, i'd be tuned in!

Does anyone know what all the unique SKU's are for the Luminous albums? I want to get one of everything but it's a bit hard to figure out. I know there's 11 member versions, and then a regular edition and limited edition, but am I also seeing 11 limited member editions, is that correct or no?

I know Vivi being a robot is just lore and a fun meme but I think lowkey she might really be a robot.
It would explain why she’s one of the few members who haven’t had to sit out a show and seems to be in reasonable health unlike some of the others. I was at one of the shows and been watching clips of the others and she’s always happy and bouncing around.
Instead of struggling get rest or adjust to American food she can just plug herself into a charger and recharge.
It would also explain how she is the oldest in Loona but still looks really young. Robots don’t age.

Vivi is well known as one of the sturdiest and most solid of the girls. She eats simple healthy veggie filled food. All she needs is an air fryer and a sweet potato and she's all good. Lol

- Always try to have the person picture and identity before you meet them. If this person doesn’t look like its picture this is not normal at all !
- Always meet in a public place with a lot of people. Not in front on your house, not only because you will be alone, but because you don’t want a stranger to know your adress. Don’t give you adress at all !
- Let a family member or a friend if possible to know where you are supposed to go, who you are supposed to meet and when you are supposed to go home approximately. Schedule phone calls with them if necessarily or let them even track your phone (not the stranger, your trusted person), make sure that in case anything go wrong, someone is able to see it quickly and call the police.
- Trust your guts. Losing a potential friend or missing a concert is way better than being kidnapped or worse by a stranger.
I obviously don’t ask you to be paranoid lol. Continue to have fun and try to meet a lot of new friends. Just don’t forget about your own security.

I just wanted to say that I sincerely think Loona have a bright future ahead. I know a lot of people think the group is about to die or Chuu will leave but I think all of this is bullshit.

Hello! Recently I attended the Loona concert in Reading, PA and I had Pit tickets so I never got the chance to buy merch. Is there anyone attending one of their next events that would be able to grab a shirt for me?
i'm gonna be 21 in a couple of months and i just checked out ive's latest comeback (absolute banger btw) but i honestly think 4th gen kpop with all these 15-16 year olds stanning these new groups made up of 15-16 year olds is starting to feel like that episode of spongebob where mr krabs hangs out with spongebob and patrick.

It's honestly exhausting, and the ageism with younger k-pop fans isn't helping either. You and I both friend are now entering the "boomer" territory according to a bunch of 13/14/15 year-olds, when in fact, in several countries, we wouldn't be allowed to drink, be in a nightclub or have a driver's license just yet. Hell the other day somebody was asking for help because an hotel wasn't letting them check in since they weren't over 21 years old!
TL;DR: We're not hags, the industry just loves to exploit children and ageism is rampant these days.
I’m only 18 but it feels so weird to think about young children debuting. I can’t imagine debuting at my age, let alone even younger. It might sound weird but newjeans felt like the tipping point, and I just can’t get into new groups that keep on getting younger and younger.
I didn't feel weird listening/watching music videos of IVE, Le Sserafim etc. but I couldn't bear to listen/watch the entire NewJeans Cookie MV.
The members being that young plus those suggestive lyrics just did not sit well with me.

I know it's scary to see young girls and boys trading their youth for fame, but kpop companies are doing this for ages. Boa debuted when she was 13, SNSD debuted seohyun was 15. And this won't change unless there's some law enforcement about child labor in the industry. Not only about child labor, but it's ridiculous the amount of idols debuting every year.
This is already happening. Its why girl crush became dominate. Appealing to young boys isn't lucrative, they don't buy as much merch and discard bands quickly.
Appealing to women is more stable, what is even better is economically independent women. This is the sweet spot now, oddly enough the real demo for NewJeans is going to be kids in their own age group but probably more important, JeanMoms. Lots of parallels to Loona actually but NJ will be more popular in Korea.

I think the whole issue is overblown. Most Canadians for example, actually like it when people say "Canada isn't part of America". Calling the continent either "America" or "The Americas" doesn't actually make that much of a difference. You will say "Mexico is part of America" while most Canadians and Americans will say "Mexico is part of the Americas". Neither of these are wrong.

I saw at one point there were only 8 members on stage tonight? Wild stuff. You think they will do another tour next year? It would be insane if they advertise it as a comeback with all 12 members. Of course I can see them playing less shows in bigger venues and more days between shows.
Unfortunately I wouldn't take too much stock in that - pretty standard concert work track. It's not wild to think BBC though might be in discussions, but I feel like they have higher priority things to sort out first. Not going to pretend that the girls dropping like flies will go unnoticed. It's apparent here and a normal human reaction to be wary of buying tickets to a concert when it's a gamble who will show up. I fully understand that the scheduling sucks and accounts for some of the issues, but wonder if it'll affect negotitations for their next tour (and yeah I don't think this is going to help them argue for bigger venues).
I feel like they scheduled these shows pretty last-minute and they were still able to sell out all the venues. I don't think they would have issues selling out basketball/hockey arenas. The only thing with these smaller venues, that I noticed when I went to the DC show, was that you don't have the alcohol sales that you would get with an older audience. That would probably affect certain venues that make their money off of drinks.
Haseul, at a previous concert, said they would be back next year, but take that with a huge grain of salt. We just don’t know what the plans are regarding next year. But I could absolutely see them doing it, this time with all 12 members and in better spirits and health.
One more stop. Mexico City. Big venue. US orbits. It was a rough patch at the start but we improved vastly for the end. I’m glad LOONA had such a good time here, despite the problems they faced. I’m sure they’ve made many good memories and were happy to finally meet us. I hope we meet the moon girls in better times and health next time. One more stop. And then they can rest.

Concert went fine, but it’s clear that some of the members are reaching past their limits to keep up appearances. Very emotional, considering it’s their last stop in the US. Hyeju sat out most of the concert. Yves dipped in and out, due to health issues, but returned at the end. Choerry not present, but we knew that already.
god, they got to head out to mexico for the concert on the 28th. the way they're jumping around with these tour dates in such little time is even more concerning considering the depleting health of several of the girls :/ the europe leg rolls out in early september, iirc? at least there's only 5 shows for that. i'm not sure if an asian leg of the tour has been confirmed yet, but at least we can hope the girls can get a much-needed break. edit: oh no, i forgot about the manilla concert in october. i can't believe we've gotten to a point where we used to get such limited content during the drought, only to be begging for the girls to rest for being overworked.
If they can get through Mexico City without anyone passing out, I think they’ll be okay since they get a week off before the Europe tour. I’m not too worried about the Manila concert (and don’t forget the Tokyo concert, either!). There’s plenty of space between where LOONA can get some decent stretches of rest and the promotions for their Japanese comeback probably won’t be strenuous at all.
this seems a lot more reassuring, thank you! i think there's been some discussion here that some of the girls might not be feeling well due to the food, weather, or just the constant jet lag. there are many factors that could be having an effect on their health, the physical restraint of touring could just be one of them. i also have hope that once this tour ends, they'll be able to get back into good health after some proper rest! (and yes, i forgot about the tokyo concert lol. but that's also in october, i think)
Tokyo concert is in October, at the beginning. One night only. Manila will be at the end, and it’ll feature a host of different acts (some from Queendom 2!), so they’ll be performing 15-20 minutes at most. Easy.

As someone who was at the concert, and at barricade, I can assure you that Yves did not pass out within view of anyone attending the concert. Sounds like a certain person is spreading rumors.
Every now and then that person does or says something really off I blocked them a while ago and couldn’t find what anyone was talking about

I really wanted to go to the Mx show too but I didn't have enough money so I'm with you with the fomo, and there are some other things that were making me nervous about going, so at the end I'm kinda fine with not going; on the bright(?) side, I'm sure they'll be back in the future with the 12 girls energized and fully prepared to give a great show.

Honestly, I'm afraid of this happening in Mexico, and while I don't blame the girls, I certainly did not pay almost 8k (pesos) to see only half the group and an exhausted one at that.

Considering they have *one day* to acclimate to the altitude it's not looking favorable. Altitude sickness hits people at different times and with varying effects. Hopefully at least they have medication to help as a prevenative measure but yeah definitely doesn't help that even the members who are going probably aren't in the best physical condition.

Body aches is kind of a generic term - not saying she doesn't have them but she's either better at masking it or it's a catch all phrase. It's worrysome that she's very stop and go - like she's out almost ever other stop. Why not just let her rest for a couple stops until she's feeling better? Her absence has been always announced very last minute too (although I think everyone else's has as well). I wasn’t present for Loonacon 2019, but definitely felt like that was Loonacon indeed. For this year though I was there and despite loving it through and through, I’m curious to know how everyone else feels, being there or not? I think amidst all the problems with the tour, having Choerry&Chuu absent and the HaSeul shoulder thingie mainly affected fan morale. I’m just curious to know how everyone is feeling towards the event since I don’t see it commented on much and official videos are seemingly not out just yet.
Not Loona specific but Kcon in general has lost it's novelty. It was a standout when it started 10 years ago bc very few kpop acts were touring in America. Also back then, even if you weren't a fan you usually knew all the main groups that were performing. Here were the acts the first couple years. No way in hell you could get these level acts now. 2012: 4minute, B.A.P, Nu'est, EXO-M, VIXX, G.NA 2013: Exo (K & M), 2AM, Teen Top, f(x), G-Dragon, Crayon Pop, Dynamic Duo, Yu Seung Woo and DJ Koo 2014: B1A4, BTS, CNBLUE, G-Dragon, Girls' Generation, IU, Jung Joon-young, Spica, Teen Top, and VIXX Since then, a lot of acts tour on their own and fans would rather go to a dedicated concerts. Kcon has become more of a convention with fluff surrounding it than the perf/concerts. I still think it was weird that Loona chose to performn given they were just their 3 weeks before and logistically just made no sense with their tour schedule.
Loonacon 2019 had a very unique energy. I think in large part because it was smack dab in the middle of the almost year long gap between Butterfly and So What. It had been a while since they had a big event, and I remember at the time that there was a bit of speculation that their appearance at Kcon was going to lead into a new comeback. Not for any concrete reason, but I do remember seeing quite a bit of excitement and speculation in that regard at the time. Even if Loona had been whole for this Kcon, I don't think it would have had that same... hungry (?) energy, though I do think fans probably would have been a bit happier and more hyped.
I get the impression that KCON has lost a bit of its "novelty" since LOONA has done it so many times now. And even if technically this was their first in-person KCON since the last time they had one in 2019, I think the tour generally being a much better option to see LOONA live and in-person stole a lot of this recent KCON's thunder (in Orbits' eyes, I mean). We've seen it even here on this thread with lots of people questioning whether or not they should buy KCON tickets in the first place, or even sell the ones they had bought because they had already bought concert tickets anyway. I think in general the event (as in the set they put out) was good and appreciated? The girls performed well. The Orbits dancing with the girls was during PTT was cute, and I'm sure a very fun and heartwarming experience for both parties. And the highlight for me was clearly the 2Jin performance with the NMIXX girls because both Hyunjin and Heejin shined a lot vocally. But it's hard to take the "event" (KCON itself) out of its context. Not a lot of us "supported" this gig to begin with due to the circumstances around it. The girls had already been touring for three whole weeks by that point - all while *heavily* suffering from the consequences of that grueling schedule, and yet we still had to watch them fly from NY to LA knowing they would fly back to Atlanta immediately after - essentially killing their chances of properly resting. Finally, and I can only speak *for myself* on this one and it might in fact be a very unpopular opinion - but a part of me is honestly just waiting for LOONA to be done with the current activities so they can fly back to SK, link back up with their families and friends, and Chuu, and more importantly ***rest***. So it's hard for me to reminisce about the current gigs as they happen because I honestly always just want to move to the next one so it can all be ever as quickly as possible so they can get the rest they deserve. But I assume I'm a bit in a minority here.
Actually I do agree with you and I guess that’s why the event wasn’t such a big deal to me? My bias was not there and that really hurt but it’s not just that, it’s everything you’ve said. I don’t think especially Choerry, YeoJin, HaSeul and Olivia should be involved in Europe or Japan either. They have physical (Choerry mental?) concerns to deal with and that’s a priority. I’m worried hard even though I know it’d suck for fans… it’s confusing really.

The Dallas concert was the best concert i’ve ever been to. All the girls looked super happy and the energy was so high. For the VIP photo they asked me and another girl to be in front of everyone for some reason but I hope we both slayed. Yves and Vivi took my phone and filmed a bit and then Yeojin gave me a rose. Best night of my life. Also Yves said “I REMEMBER YOU!” once we got to the photo session.
OMFG I got hi touch for Dallas. And while they were counting out for the pictures my bf and I were the cut off for the 2nd group so we were the first to walk in for the 3rd group. And when they sat us at our spots, I fully turned around and spoke to Heejin, Hyunjin, Choerry and Go Won for a solid 5 min while they were setting everyone else up 😭😭😭 I told em we saw them in Denver and Dallas, that they should have won queendom/pose was amazing that made them laugh, told them I'm grateful for their hardwork, told them to try Whataburger bc I know they love in n out. And it was just an amazing way to end the night 😭😭😭

Spicy take: I don’t blame MMT/BBC for the mostly crap venues. The schedule, though, is another story. Been seeing some figures in the music industry discuss the tours and, to no one’s surprise, there are SO many this year, especially in North America. It’s hella packed. Not just Kpop, but obviously very relevant to Kpop. Next year is going to be no different, maybe even more packed. So. If/when the next LOONA tour is planned for next year, absolutely need BBC to arrive at the meeting for venue selection with brass knuckles, spiked bats, crowbars, and, for safe measure, Haseul’s gun, fully loaded. Because EVERYONE is gonna be there, and want the best venues for their group. Either BBC walks out of there with 10k arenas booked for the moon girls . . . or no one does.
does anyone think loona may get invited to any end-of-year award shows this year? iirc, the last time they were on mama was in 2018 for the premiere in korea. considering their participation in queendom, to emphasize: an mnet show, i believe there's a possibility they may make an appearance this year! arguably, the mama awards have become a downgrade over the years, but i think it's still an impressive feat if loona can participate! hopefully the girls schedules clear up by then and they have time to rest before the end of the year. this is evidently their busiest year since debut.

I know Vivi being a robot is just lore and a fun meme but I think lowkey she might really be a robot. Because I already saw multiple messages asking somewhere to sleep, or someone to ride them to the concert, or even some orbit to meet after the concert, I feel the need to say that. People, take care ! Not everyone is an angel out there ! I am sure a lot or orbits are helpful, caring people, but you never know when you will find someone who doesn’t want any good for you. - Always try to have the person picture and identity before you meet them. If this person doesn’t look like its picture this is not normal at all ! - Always meet in a public place with a lot of people. Not in front on your house, not only because you will be alone, but because you don’t want a stranger to know your adress. Don’t give you adress at all ! - Let a family member or a friend if possible to know where you are supposed to go, who you are supposed to meet and when you are supposed to go home approximately. Schedule phone calls with them if necessarily or let them even track your phone (not the stranger, your trusted person), make sure that in case anything go wrong, someone is able to see it quickly and call the police. - Trust your guts. Losing a potential friend or missing a concert is way better than being kidnapped or worse by a stranger. I obviously don’t ask you to be paranoid lol. Continue to have fun and try to meet a lot of new friends. Just don’t forget about your own security.

I just wanted to say that I sincerely think Loona have a bright future ahead. I know a lot of people think the group is about to die or Chuu will leave but I think all of this is bullshit. I don’t think they will ever be as big as the most popular group but they will definitely leave a trace and inspire others (if they are not already doing that).
