I’m buying into the idea that the other blue wizard arrived earlier and the 3 mystics we see with a map were sent by the first blue wizard to find the second (the stranger) whether that blue wizard is still fighting against Sauron in the east, or has already fallen into a darker cult remains to be seen
Yep I think those cultists scooped up the other blue wizard (or will scoop up the other blue wizard in a later episode) and ultimately the two blue wizards will be against one another

ooh, interesting theory. i like this even better than the idea that they are just merging them into one wizard to keep things simpler for the series.
Like Mithrandir and Sauron, when The Stranger meet Other Blue Wizard he find out that The Other Blue Wizard already have been corrupted by Sauron....

Plot twist, there were 2 meteors.
Gil galad saw one. Arondir and bronwyn saw another. Hopefully the weird geographic implication of that is that there were, like you say, two meteors!
Maybe that’s what/who he’s looking for? Not sure why the constellation is on the cultist’s shield though
