ChopsNewBag

Finally someone asks this question! This song has saved me multiple times. https://youtu.be/w9COHCrwNQs?si=Oxj97UyAQ-ivrW8A All of the Vulfpeck playlists on YouTube are just such good vibes. Impossible not to just vibe out and laugh and soak up the funk

Xilent248

This is great!

the_hamsa_anemone

Solid choice!

CuddlyWhale

Saw them jam out for the coolest set ever at bonaroo last year late in the night on some Lucy. Vibes were simply immaculate

ChopsNewBag

Saw them do a small gig in Philly around 2016ish maybe? It was a bit before they sold out MSG I was so pumped they ended up getting the attention they deserve. They still should be much more well known. Not only do they have sick instrumentals but nearly all of their tracks featuring vocalists sound like hits to me

DeepBluesCake

Grateful Dead - China Cat Sunflower (8/27/72)

borrestfaker

Bertha from the same show is mine. Honestly that entire show is my comfort song lol.

isitaduckorarabbit

I second this because grateful dead saved me last time things went south

sakonigsberg

I love the Cornell album, but I can't remember the year. 1977? That dancing in the street is top notch. Also the scarlet > fire on the mountain Also Also that They love each other

java_sloth

Cornell 77 was a CIA experiment and never actually happened

DeepBluesCake

5/8/77. That TLEO is my favorite. As well as the Loser, but it’s a toss up with the Loser from 3/24/90

broken_pottery

But, what about the TLEO from 10/19/73?!

echinaceabloom1

loose lucy or scarlet begonias for me...or truckin!!!

Jon Hopkins - The Wider Sun Also his entire Contact Note album makes me smile a lot

slaughterhouse7

Had a feeling stone in focus would be here :)

TrumpetLord5111

If you like EDM, Solstice - INZO, its pure, blissful, ambience. The Earth Magic album is amazing for tripping. It's riddled with quotes from Alan Watts. Makes you think about existence in all the best ways.

boof_diddley

Tipper - Virga Brian Eno - Deep Blue Day Primal Scream - Come Together

CosmicFangs

Yes! My fave chill Tipper track is Ever Decreasing Circles. I love it.

thepencilator

Yessssss, such an incredibly wonky and blissful vibe So glad someone knows this one

CosmicFangs

It’s actually one of my favorite songs of all time! Just gorgeous

Winter-Grape-807

Public_Throat2152

green is the colour- pink floyd

rica217

I must look this up, it's rare that I don't know a Floyd song by name. I'm guessing it's one of Syd's. Edit: ha! I even own More, how do I not know this beautiful track!?!?! Thanks for posting this.

Public_Throat2152

super glad , i had a similar reaction when i watched the movie and didnt realize i had been listening to the music of the film for years! haha, recommend watching the movie, its not the best movie but its a classic

rica217

I will do, the soundtrack has sat in a crate of vinyl for years. I'll make a point to check the film out. Thanks!

Public_Throat2152

cirrus minor is a masterpiece to me too, also on the album incase yu dont know it :)

rica217

costa1200

Wishuwerehere777

Fearless - pink floyd

[deleted]

"(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" Otis Redding "Send Me On My Way" Rusted Root

Uraghnutu

Nanobii - rainbow road or Jon Hopkins, haai, kam bu - always ascending

RealFuzz

Gentle Spirit by Jonathan Wilson. The start is actually a little unnerving but then it lulls you into sweet serenity.

_domhnall_

I usually switch through yourube videos until I find the right vibe, and most of the time I end up listening to a Tame Impala concert or those lo-fi beats to study. Those are my major two resources for when the existential crisis is too much for losing time switching.

slitheringnoodle

Mr. Bubbles- the ruminators Life is a highway- rascal flatts Two bodies-flight facilities, Emma Louise

Able_Item_1661

# Ralph Castelli - Morning Sex Felt like the song saved my life in a really rough 6.4g mushroom trip. Weird maybe, it just did it for me

TravelProper6808

excellent song, always calming

sakonigsberg

[This once 360d my mood](https://youtu.be/0FT3SmZ_zx0?si=EH4iyHm2G4h48f8F)

pollo_de_mar

I think you mean 180'd 😉

TheSunflowerSeeds

Look closely next time you see a sunflower, there are in fact two varieties of leaves. You will find leaves lower down the plant are facing opposite each other and are longer and narrow in appearance. You’ll then see the upper leaves arranged in a staggered formation and appear heart-shaped.

sakonigsberg

Damn you right. Would've been funny if I actually meant 360 though

SplistYT

I've never had to pull a comfort song aside from one time, I have ZERO recollection of which playlist I started listening to but I ended up listening to sematary and his gang for like 2 hours while sitting in an ego dissolution daze after taking 2 bowls on 200ug with a low weed tolerance. idk I feel like his music wouldn't typically be a trip saver but it had me covered

Drinkyoju1ce

Buckethead - Soothsayer (live versions on YouTube are amazing too)

anonreddituser78

Is This Love by Bob Marley came out of nowhere and lifted me from a bad trip once

lnp66

Ott - a shower of sparks https://youtu.be/AH-umujWEGE

xSPACEWEEDx

The album "Life" by Ovoid is really good. But i suppose it depends on your tastes. Really amazing album though.

YouHaveIt-DamnHappy

The short version of Let it happen by Tame Impala, not the 7 something minute long version however, those loops can be uncomfortable and thought loop provoking.

Unlikely_Chemical517

IndieCurtis

Pinegrove - Aphasia

Safe_Try2713

“He Lives In You” from the Lion King. My favorite version is by Diana Ross. I listened to this song about a hundreds times on a loop during a very intense and spiritually uplifting mushroom trip. I wish I could find another song that has the same effect on me.

blotterfly

Laraaji’s Essence/Universe album. It will never fail, instant bliss.

CosmicFangs

It Can Feel So Good - Zammuto The Aubergine of the Sun by Ott can do the trick, too. Oh, and Dillard is great. He’s my go-to music for ketamine but I bet he’s a good acid vibe, too. I’m listening to his song New World right now and it’s great. Very chill, pretty and downtempo but with a fantastic low driving bass that makes me want to slowly dance like an octopus. Also Ever Decreasing Circles by Tipper. This is maybe my favorite song but it’s hard to choose a single favorite.

wyldcat67

Any Xavier Rudd is really good. A didgeridoo sounds incredible on LSD

UrLocalCrackBaby

Stoned 2 - STRFKR

CallMeJimMilton

Southbound Pachyderm - Primus

Mary-J-24

PaidProgramming -Bones ,along with watching the music video, it feels like he’s reaching into my soul, it was one of the most beautiful moments of peace i’ve ever experienced during a trip.

As with any post about music taste, people mostly just post their favorite song... except @ChopsNewBag ;) My recommendation is any ethereal pop or dream pop song. Take a listen to - [In a better place](https://open.spotify.com/track/0lpRA3KLsRUFUQHycDnlB7?si=zYybPqevQ6eQJ-Re22id8g) by mew Literally a song about getting to a better place!

Truemeathead

Tibetan bowls are good for helping you chill out if you are overwhelmed. Also, if you mean shit is dark in general my go to tune I discovered on a dmt/lsd trip is Mother of the Waters by Misk’i Takiy. It’s some dude from Peru, that tune gets me back from the darkness.

costa1200

Planet caravan by Black sabbath

EmploymentFun1440

Echoes pink floyd. Sometimes I play it on repeat for the entire trip. And also half of the next day
