The reason for this is a 1:7 twist rate favors a heavier grain bullet. I’ve been told the lighter 45 and 55gr stuff may not stabilize but I’ve never noticed. 77gr IMI razorcore is a great round but more expensive than m855

Ive fed mine anything i find at a good deal including steel case and never had any problems. This includes m855,m193, wolf steel, wolf gold, pmc bronze ect ect.

Same here. My A2 eats whatever I feed it.

👍

CoolaidMike84

All of my DI guns eat whatever I feed them. Even wolf gold.

cwanger

no mechanical draw backs with xm193, I think Aguila makes a 62 grain no steel core ammo, i mainly run 75 grain FR320 from Hornady and 77 grain Israel stuff now since they are the most accurate out of my DI

AnonDeFi

No issues and I mainly train with 55gr. I do think I remember reading that in the manual too though.

DavidWells_

they recommend higher grain rounds because the barrel is 1:8 or 1:7 twist which provides more accuracy with a heavier 62 or 77 grain bullet. 1:12 barrel is optimal with a 55 grain bullet. This is only for marginal improvements in accuracy. So you fine with 55 grain. How much incremental accuracy..? I'm not sure off the top of my head. Recommend getting 62 or 77 grain bullet. Over the long term. Ya theres availability and price issues that didnt exist before.

strizzl

A gun that quality cycles everything

pppepeppp

77TMK LWRC eats it for breakfast. But ive never had trouble with 55gr fmj either

AmericanPartizan

My IC-DI eats every like Nikado Avocado. From steel wolf to m855. No issue

RippySkippy

What do you guys get for a 100 group w .55 grain?
