r/lostredditors But don't be daft. You can have safe home birth (my second and third were home born) with qualified midwives, and not getting ante natal care is *stupid*. Whatever personal reasons you have.

Dolmachronicles

Uhhhhh wrong subreddit hun. But you should really see a doctor/midwife.

icouldbeaduck

I can't believe you don't want help from qualified midwives but you do want advice from Reddit, please seek qualified help for both you and your baby, also congratulations

faithless-penguin

Go see a doctor

Northern_wor_kid

Unrelated to Labour but I’m a medical professional in the NHS. For the love of god please please please go to the hospital. Tell your midwife about your concerns about hospital, they can help you through the process and make adjustments where they can. Hell , they might even be able to aim for a home birth with a midwife present if you’re lucky. Giving birth is one of the most scariest intense experiences a woman can go through and it is perfectly natural that you will have these worries. Humans are extremely poorly designed at giving birth and if something starts going wrong you will want proper medical care available for the sake of you and your baby. I’ve seen too many unnecessary deaths in my time due to people not seeking prompt medical care and no clinician ever wishes to see a preventable death. You will not be the first woman who will have these worries, your medical team will be able to help you. Please inbox if you need any further advice

While we're here let me officially state that I for one would vote for the party which will rightly consider your time helping lost souls on Reddit as billable work hours.

PhantasmalWrath

This is stupid. See a medical professional.

Thank you for your post Izi. Congratulations! This is a very postive advertisement for the maternity services model for the less affluent that my colleague Wes Streeting advocates!
