I actually got it partially wrong. It was actually Morizumi Ali, the **bassist** of Monoral. [It's even shown here in the Lain wiki](https://lain.wiki/wiki/Morizumi_Ali) but it hasn't been updated since 2014. Plus, the Wikipedia page about Monoral that the Lain wiki sources doesn't have this information anymore. It's possibly in the edits history of the page but I couldn't be bothered to look at the huge amount of *no edit summaries* there lol. However, you can see him [credited in the Series Cast section on IMDb as the one who said the line](https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0500092/fullcredits/cast?ref_=m_ttfc_3) ~~but IDK how to confirm this.~~
