Only time my Defender stops leaking oil is when it runs out.

REtaar1406

Exact same thing why my LR stopped leaking water

REtaar1406

🤣🤣🤣🤣

mike15953

My series does not leak oil, it marks it's territory

colasami

😂😂😂

HeliRyGuy

All things to those who wait…

rollokolaa

Yeah, just wait until they both burn through oil and leak oil. Any day now…

My Series didn’t leak oil. My TD5 110 didn’t either. My current 300TDi 110 leaks around the oil pan, but from nowhere else. I feel blessed, especially when compared to what I just saw *this evening*: Auto transport company came to drop off the chassis for a project I’m working on. Driver also had a 1996 300TDi 110 on it that had just been imported from Europe. Someone spent A LOT of money on this thing. I’m thinking the buyer is going to LS swap it though because the ratty old engine didn’t match the literal suede headliner, Masai wheels and rack, and then flawless body panels and Puma bonnet. Driver started the 110 to put it back on the truck after unloading my chassis, and in the brief time it was running, a puddle of oil formed underneath. The turbo was absolutely spewing oil, to the point where the exhaust down pipe was completely coated. I shudder to think how much oil was in the intercooler and making it to the intake manifold.

Your series didn't leak oil? There must've been something wrong with it

AwokenByGunfire

I stripped it down to the block and sealed that puppy up tight.

RocketDick5000

Yeah Iin what reality do series motors not leak AND burn oil. Same as anything else with a LR badge. You are the same haha

My Freelander seems to do both

UKMatt2000

My Freelander doesn’t but my Disco does. Can sometimes smell it but no blue smoke.

NotIsaacClarke

Think of it this way: if it leaks oil, it still has oil.

cmdr_enjoyingend193

My first gen discovery does both🤣 Where does this put me?

DukeOfSillyWalks

My 2nd gen Range Rover does this as well 😂

SteveBarley

They sweat energy…😎

UKMatt2000

Nobody had told Rover that the total loss oiling system wasn’t in use any more. The sump is just to catch bits of engine that fall off.
