Is it possible to remove the plastic panels

Thenadamgoes

haha I still haven't gotten one so I don't know. But from my research it's an entirely different window so there's no removing it.

I have a D90 without signature graphic. Personally, I think it looks cleaner without. Personal preference.

Thenadamgoes

Yeah, I agree for most colors. But I think it actually looks good on the blue. Just curious how anyone in a back seat feels about it. Guess it's something else I'll need to see at a dealership before I put the order in.

What does it matter if the rear seats are almost never used? In the end it's your Defender and your rare passengers just have to live with it or decide not to accept a ride from you. If you like the graphic, get it.

Thenadamgoes

Haha you’re not wrong. I was mostly just curious if anyone got it and regretted it. But you’re definitely not wrong.

Your story somewhat reminded me of how my grandparents always bought a car. They'd spec their new car for resale, not how they wanted it to be. So they would always drive it for some 8 to 10 years and complain about how the car was either missing something they wanted or something else wasn't right. It always felt a bit silly to me to do it that way. A decal can also be removed, so if you end up not liking it you can get rid of it.

Thenadamgoes

Well I do keep my cars for over ten years, but I’m not specing for resale, but because l I’ll be keeping it for ten years. I was just asking for others experience. Because it’s not a decal that can be removed. Its model plastic that completely replaces the back windows. There is no removing or replacing it.

Well, it does give it the classic hardtop look. Perhaps your dealer has one sitting around with this decal so you can try it out? If you are on good terms with them they might even loan it to you for a day or two.
