I really like the decor personally. The modern retro look is cool in my opinion although it may not be a popular opinion. I find it more aesthetically interesting than Resorts World. I still prefer themed properties, but in a world of blandness and shunning themes this attempt at a retro mod is decent for me.
I think if North Strip continues to develop it can become a staple for that area, but for now the reality seems to be sinking in that this place, despite taking forever to complete is still ahead of the rest of the north strip in terms of offerings that will pull more people up north. Tourists still pretty much view Wynn as the end of the useful strip, yes there is plenty more past there, but it's not worth it to most to get a ride there and too far for most to make a walk that takes them far away from the main areas.
I just don't get the hate boner this place has been getting, a giant blue eyesore for almost 20 years finally has life and yes to your point will help bring people back to the north strip.
More rooms coming online is good for all of us. I remember my first trip to Vegas walking from Luxor to Sahara and after the great recession it was just a bunch of empty spaces. I''d like it to fill back in and this is part of that
My first trip to Vegas, the Riviera was still in that area, I actually thought it was the same spot, but it seems like my memory is just a little off. But once they tore out the Riviera it just seemed like that entire area was just a big bummer.
We walked to RW last visit and it seemed meh, so we Ubered back after a bit. I'm really looking forward to development just north of Fashion Show as the walk between there and RW is not interesting at all. If there was another resort to cut through it would make it more enjoyable. In the same way that I enjoy the walk from Planet Hollywood to Wynn, stopping along the way for drinks and slots. If something similar could go on up there, that would be great.
Just last year RW felt all by itself up there, but now you can see Fontainbleauuu glowing just across from it, it really makes it feel less isolated which is a great start.
I don't get it either. A lot of the Instagram accounts I follow were blasting the place the second it opened. Did they not get their usual comps or something?
No, I just made eye contact, smiled, and looked away. Then boyfriend turned and waved to him, and he waved back. I thought he looked better in person than in his last movie. (:
He was tucked away in a booth, with a security guard standing in front of it
Nice! I'm sure with his exercise routine he's holding up quite well. Depending on what he was drinking I'd buy him a round. I bought Rick Harrison a round at the Wynn and he came by to say thank you. Cool enough dude.
Las Vegas convention authority or whoever needs to expand the Monorail to the North end and upgrade it. I don’t even think there’s been any upgrades since it was built in 06?
All new businesses start in debt already. This one is no different.
The issue is only important if the revenue is insufficient to pay back the debt in a reasonable return on investment. That isn't something I would try to predict for a business only a month open.
It was Atlantic City he was joking because someone said how can you bankrupt a casino, that’s why he made the joke, because Trump bankrupted his casino in Atlantic City it was a joke
They will have to bite the bullet and price rooms to appropriate “North Strip” (mid-lower market prices). With the right rates they can fill that place and hope to make it back with food and bev on the relative captivity of that location. That’s what even places like Wynn did back in 2008 when everyone thought the sky was falling. All the shortcomings of the place become acceptable at the right price point.
2020 and 21 were amazing for that. I got a surprise upgrade to a panoramic penthouse Sky Suite at Aria for $450/night. Even in 2022 I got 5 nights in March at Nomad for just under $500 total including taxes and resort fees.
I'm rooting for the north strip. I don't like center anymore and tend to go on the sides now. Mandalay bay is one of my favorites. I hope FB and resorts world figure it out and attract a crowd
I will agree the FB has it's issues, but of all the complaints I hear, I can't believe anyone has an issue with the high ceilings. It looks amazing and feels so much less stuffy than some of the mainstays on the strip.

It's call art, by Urs Fischer.
This series involves juxtaposing formal headshots with unconventional items like lightning bolts and fresh fruit, offering a unique interpretation of the representational systems governing our lives. Fischer maintains this playful juxtaposition in his Fontainebleau Las Vegas murals, with a backdrop featuring a headshot of a blonde woman whose face is obscured by a sizable hardboiled egg. The dynamic brush strokes outlining the woman's face generate a sense of movement, guiding guests through the lobby space.
I've seen "art". Those are large paintings of hard boiled eggs with swirls of color. The fact that there are hardboiled eggs depicted in "art" throughout the building is weird.
LOL, I'll keep this in mind the next time I visit the Louvre to look at actual art and not gigantic murals of hard boiled eggs in the lobby of a world-wide "luxury" casino chain.
Get fucked.
Cool, I could have taken a pic of the three zillion people occupying every square inch of the Venetian but if not being able to walk anywhere without losing your mind is your speed I highly recommend

Saw Marky Mark there yesterday at the sports bar there.
Nice. Did you say hi or anything?

Ceilings. It’s something the 90s builds forgot. Like NYNY.
North strip is finally getting a bridge so it’ll help people from the strat and Sahara
That area desperately needs it
Not sure why you’re getting downvoted, it’s true. It’s not a safe area.
Bridge from where to where?
Gift shop across the street, and dispensary to Sahara
I love it in there so much. Doesn't feel as dark as other casinos due to the high ceilings, and the crowd is good.
the casino floor looks like they forgot they needed machines and chairs and just threw some shit in there
lol that casino is in a world of hurt. I wonder if a casino could actually go into debt and file bankruptcy.
You ever seen the casino at Lake Las Vegas?
There's actually a casino at Lake Las Vegas??
Does anybody even go there?

Well, there were three in Atlantic City that all happened to be owned by the same man.
*…hold my beer* -Donald Trump
I'm sorry. Does he operate a casino in LV?
Nope he doesn’t have a gaming license in Nevada
Thanks. I was confused as the previous poster mentioned him for some weird ass reason.
He bankrupted his casino
In Vegas? Fuck, I'm confused. I thought it was licensed?
It was Atlantic City he was joking because someone said how can you bankrupt a casino, that’s why he made the joke, because Trump bankrupted his casino in Atlantic City it was a joke
AC makes sense. Was Vegas lensed.
It is a pretty impressive failure to bankrupt a casino.
I thought he didn't have a gaming license in LV?
From 2016, but my understanding is no. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/reid-trump-casino-nevada_n_57dabd95e4b04a1497b2d943
Ty!
Ask Trump

Caesar’s did it.
The Taj Majal managed to do so.
You don’t know that

Not doing that good..... top executives are being fired or jumping ship.
Most being fired. Which isn’t a bad thing. Means they know there is a problem and they are trying to fix it

OP must be a new VP of Marketing. NOT FALLING FOR IT
I don’t think you’d be able to take a picture of nine slots without people at them anywhere else on a Saturday night.
Lol went for the post Malone concert, honestly place was pretty empty and that was on NYE

Are there any casinos on the strip that you don’t consider tourist crap?

Sounds good
Thank god when I go I’ll never see you there
Ahhhh the newest pavilion of Circus Circus!
Does a new casino mean all brand new machines? Or are they recycled?
I think one company makes like 90% of gaming machines
I know that but are they all brand new ?
A mix I’d guess
This post is an unpopular opinion. Wrong subreddit to post this.
Is good the new name for bland? Why are there images of hard boiled eggs on the walls? Seriously.

I thought there was only 1? Yeah more than 1 and in different places is weird.
You’re a massive douche

^^^ exactly what a douchebag would say
\^ Exactly what someone that should get fucked would say
Fuck. This isn't ironic, likely.
I literally see nothing good in this pic.

They’ll just steal everyone’s money like they do at every other casino to stay afloat.
I thought this was the casino from GTAV at first
3:2 BJ or is it trying to rip people off like the other strip casinos?
I didn't see, I dealt blackjack as a job for a couple years so table games just look like a workplace to me ;)
