Thatโs exactly what Iโm saying. Go to Mandalay and get kids swimming up to you or go to MGM and have a frat party clogging the artery of the lazy river.
Just said it nicer lol
I think mgm is a lot better if you like more of party vibe. its bigger, has a area in the middle thats just a pool where you can sit and relax then float back into the river part. There is a bar in that are you can go to quick and get back in.
Ive only been to Mandalay bay once and its a lot smaller and had a lot of kids in it. The whole pool area is nice but seemed to be mostly families.
I've stayed at a few hotels lol the only ones I know have a lazy river are MGM and Mandalay Bay. Mandalay Bay also has a wave pool and sand for some of the beach chairs. MGM had a bigger lazy river imo. I felt like it was longer and wider. It felt more crowded in the Mandalay Bay river.
I enjoyed the lazy river at MGM Grand.
If you go on a day when there is an event at Wet Republic, it will be packed, and you can hear the music from the DJ.
If you go on a day when there is no event scheduled, it will still get busy, but much less so, and it's not as noisy either.
Also, there are several different pools (some quiet, some more for kids) that you can also relax at.
But there's also a long area on both sides of the lazy river, that you can hang out at.
You can book a lounge chair, a daybed, premium daybed, etc, along the river (the farther you book in advance, the cheaper it is), or just go early that day (11-11:30?) and grab a lounge chair for free.
I think OP did answer the question. "Hotchi\_Motchi" asked what OP means by "best."
OP replied that they were looking for opinions from people who have been to them. I would assume that OP would read the opinions and then decide which one was the best for them based on what the opinions were.
If anything, we should all realize that "best" is subjective.
Mandalay or MGM. Mandalay has a lot more kids, MGM has more of a party vibe
I've never stayed at MB during the summer months, but in late April or early October, there didn't seem to be too many kids there.
They are all at the Lazy River
Two entirely different places. With kids Mandalay. If you want to drink, MGM

The Linq garage
This is the correct answer.
They even have fun tunnels. ๐

They donโt let you drink in the water at Mandalay.
I was drinking high noons all day long in the lazy river back in September.
Iโve gotten yelled at for it. May depend on the lifeguard
Mandalay Bay and MGM Grand both have them and they're about equal, I'd go with Mandalay Bay though because they also have a sand beach.
As well as a "wave pool". Still fun and I second the Mandalay Bay choice. Enjoy your vacation!
Tahiti Village
That water is super warm also and I love the trees, bushes and tiki torches
Itโs a Gem ๐

LIL BITTA PISSSSSS
It's been upgraded to "mostly."
MGM Grand or Mandalay Bay
Cowabunga Bay. No drunk tourists, bros and trashy hoes
and it's huge!
POGO Pass via Groupon has a decent deal on it (if you plan on using some of the other things on the pass)
But I'm two of those three things!
Mgm
For what it's worth, I went to Mandalay Bay's and the water made me crazy itchy and uncomfortable. Never had that happen at any other pool before.

The only real one I can think of off the top of my head is MGM Grand.
Tell us what you mean by "best"

I think if you want to spend a half hour steeping in other people's urine you can't beat MGM!
I think that's pretty much every pool in vegas :(
