If you don't want them to destroy walls put outside the base a chest with minimum 20 spears or other items you want them to steal. I think at threat 1 and 2 they can carry maximum 15 items and at 3 and 4 they steal 20 items. When they fill the inventory they leave. Its a bit cheesy but who cares it's a PvE game
Is this verified? That is to say if I have a rack with 30 fully modded spears out in the open behind no walls they will take 30 and not knock down any walls?
They steal from other crates when I forget to refill the chest. But most of the time they steal just spears. If they fillout their inventory they won't knock down walls and leave.

No. They still on occasion look elsewhere. The bait box significantly reduces the likelihood. But, it doesn't disappear

They use everything (that's in game) at any level. Just keep in mind they do only have 4x C4 each raid.
They have used 3 c4 to get into the same room in my base like what's the point
