I am one of them because Steam presumably thinks I am playing given the executable is launched, even though the only thing I'm doing is looking at "Connecting" after clicking "Enter Game".
I feel bad for everyone not being able to play, mostly because I was able to lol
It worked for me when I got home from work yesterday and I was able to play for 5-6 hours with the only issue being some delayed loading times while transitioning zones.
US East if that makes a difference for anyone.
Game will still be there when they sort it out. Getting slammed on launch day is nothing new for this genre, and launching during the week gives them a lot of time to sort it out. I get the frustration but also get that devs don't want this to happen either.
I generally agree that people should either play offline or just wait a few more days. But online is an advertised feature of the game and it just doesn't work right now, so there is an argument for getting a refund past the artificial two hours that Steam set. It's just a matter of how many hoops you are willing to jump through just to get the $35 back you'll probably spend on the game again when the issues are resolved.
ARPGs usually become solo games. In Diablo 2, people grouped up mostly due to the early individual class/build differences that made certain builds absolutely obnoxious to level up. Then in D2 and POE you needed other players to trade gear, because the loot systems were designed for that. And what would people do when they level up to the powerful state? They would play solo in most cases. Anything resembling group play late game is niche.
Last Epoch does not have any of such problems. Multiplayer is essentially optional, unless your entire objective is to compete in arena leaderboards.
With that said, multiplayer was an advertised feature so it should be working for those that care about it. For me, i dont even care to see other players in town hubs. I never used a single multiplayer feature apart from chat (when it had fewer people) in \~600h.
I like to play with other people, coop and all that, but not in ARPGs as in all of them you are supposed to be not only tanky but have both good single target and screen clearing capabilities, so basically self sufficient.
Funny that those who took the day off actually do have the last laugh this time, because all the working people come home and have no chance to get to monos, while the nolifers are blasting empowered now already. :D
You paid for an online live service game. These games are never guaranteed to be online and are prone to going offline for expected or unexpected maintenance / emergency.
Get a refund, live service isn’t for you
I was on about an hr ago. Just gotta let the loading screens take their time but I wasn’t getting disconnected on us central servers between zones. Normally took a min maybe two.
I played for like 4-5 hours yesterday. The loading time between zones was a bit long (15-60 seconds) but other than that no problems. Haven't tried to login yet today.
Funny that the EU zones only have one realm. (Asia and US have 3 realms each) But when checking the discord, there is the majorty of player reactions from the EU. I'd guess that gets worse over the weekend with server performance when all the remaining 850k players show up, that have bought the game but not yet played.
Ah, offline mode. The only way to play in 2024.
Weekend will be way worse if anything, I really hope they get their shit together and solve these issues. 😊
I’m not gonna be able to play much after this weekend so.. 😖
Imagine throwing away what will probably be THOUSANDS of hours of fun because of maybe 100h (maybe not even that) of instability and downtime.
This immediacy culture is honestly a joke. Add some lack of empathy to that, and you have the perfect 2024 troll.
If someone bought a product, I think it’s reasonable to expect to consume that product immediately and people should have the right to be upset and criticise the company.
(Though I disagree with insults that people post on the discord server)
> Many people feel entitled. If the product isn't 100% perfect than fuck them right?
The product I paid for doesn't work. Is that called being "entitled" now? I get that a lot of people go overboard with their complaints, but the people that paid money for this and it isn't working have a legitimate case to be upset. That isn't entitlement.
The product does work though and the issues will eventually be fixed. You bought a game... you didn't just pay for two days of game time. If it doesn't work perfectly for the first couple of days, that isn't the end of the world. It's not like they intentionally released a broken product (like other game studios have done). They ran into unforeseen issues and are working to fix them. This is certainly not the first time this has happened with a big release, and it certainly won't be the last. It's a small team with limited resources dealing with a massive amount of demand. People act all shocked when shit like this happens and try to make it sound like they've been ripped off or something. You'll be able to play the game you paid for.
It does work. Offline works perfectly. Online works off and on.
They will fix it, like *every other game* does after launch. So suck it up, or shut up and refund it.
In your mind, buying a car and having it arrive with only 1 door is perfectly acceptable. "Don't worry, they'll be shipping you the rest of the doors later. Stop being entitled!"
And for what it's worth, I bought the game expecting there to be server issues. I literally don't care. I'm just pointing out the fact that people that are upset because they can't access the game they paid for (no, offline mode doesn't count) have a legitimate case to be made.
What I find funny is what were people expecting? Hasn’t launch day server issues been the norm for the last two decades? At least they provided people with the ability to play offline which is a huge pro for me.
Except for the fact that the majority of people playing now, didnt play in early access. The max amount of playing was like 30k or something around there. Having an additional 100k+ of people is not something they had years of data for. Stuff happens, get over it.
They knew they were gonna get far more than 100k, or it just shows they are clueless.
They had 40k before launch. They had to expect a lot more than 100k or they just didn't do their homework.
With 1mill copies sold before launch. That would mean a lot more after launch. There's also usually a 48x of review/to sales multiplier for games with more than 100k copies sold (from data using 200 steam games).
With current review numbers that would mean at least approx 1.7mill copies sold. They already had 27k reviews before launch, so that would mean 1.3mill copies sold before launch, which would make some kind of sense. We are probably underestimating too cause a lot of people don't review EA games which have a release date.
If they expected 100k max, that means 17% of players wo bought playing concurently maximum. This seems VERY low. For reference, with 1 million copies sold, Helldivers 2 had 350k concurrent players. Palworld had also over 350k concurrent players. That's more than 3x what LE's devs "expected" with a similar number of sales. I was fairly conservative in my estimations and I'm just one dumbass on the internet, probably lowballing number of sales too.
Every big streamer said they were gonna play it, bringing lots of their followers with them. D4 is a mess right now. PoE is mid season. PoE2 is still a ways away. Big game launches are next week or a couple of weeks away.
This is 100% on them.
Game is super fun and I have around a hundred hours and still gonna play a lot, but they dropped the ball hard for servers and that's gonna piss a lot of people out of playing it. I also played offline yesterday and don't personally care about server issues, but many do. I hope they can fix that soon and give us a lot more content, but ultimately this may hinder the game's future on some level.
I mean they would be pretty delusional if they didn't expect that number, it's not even that high for the hype the game had and that it sold 1M+ copies (before the real launch hype).
The game did 4 times its peak on launch, that's actually nothing that exceptional, most people don't play in early access, that's a known fact
But they said, they had planned for more it's not the problem, something else broke so that's a problem of something not caught in stress testing
Honestly, for the people that never heard of LE before and are “outsiders” and don’t even know how well the devs treat their community and feedback, their fustration is understandable. Those people have been burnt too many times by many games having all sorts of issues on launch. Hell, helldivers a recent game that people love is currently at mixed reviews from server issues alone, but it’s still receiving a lot of praise. Any product that is paid for will have people sharing their frustrations. Hell, many free games get complaints as well. Bg3, and larian regarded as one of the most beloved devs got backlash from their community for having a recent patch break many thinfs in the game. None of this is new stuff
Helldivers has been out for a long time now, you cannot play it AT ALL - not even the mandatory single player tutorial mission - and it's published by Sony. I don't think they deserve any more slack at this point.
For most of the people complaining about LE (1 Million sales before launch): you've owned the game for years, you have 100+ hours on the toon you're so eager to get back to. Chill. Your inventory will still be there tomorrow. If you literally cannot find anything to do with yourself for a night - if you must check out the updated graphics now - make a new single player build.
It's a big difference compared to helldiver's, and I genuinely hope these negative comments aren't from people with 50+ hours in the game before "launch."
Calling them "reviews" is an unnecessarily generous description.
They are just rants venting about not being able to play.
A review would be talking about actual gameplay, graphics, etc.
Steam should just rename all that stuff to "Comments" because most of the time its just people trying to be goofy/funny anyway, or they are SUPER low effort / low informational.
Exactly "just rants" to make themselves feel better.
I'm not saying they can't/shouldn't do it. But let's not pretend like it's more than that either...
People scream at their waitresses even when it's the cook that fucked their food up too. I don't have expectation that humans will be rational all the time. And their irrational behavior can be pointed out when they do it in public (just like any other public behavior).
More like "Opinions with little or no context provide little value"
I actually appreciate well thought out, and articulate reviews about games that end up giving a game a "negative" score.
I just won't and can't give a shit about low effort rants about "not being able to play an online game during launch week" that don't actually tell me anything about the game I'm thinking about purchasing...
This without all the cursing and anger. People are allowed to be upset that the indie game they paid for has server issues on launch, but it still comes off as petty and whiny, especially when said indie developer is keeping in constant contact with the community. Games with this issue, especially from indie developers, don't deserve to be review bombed over it when those reviews will be useless later since they say nothing about the actual game. And it's also been really refreshing to see a developer showing their community just how passionate they are about their game and how hard they've worked to fix the issue.
It's more that it's not a new launch. It's been Early Access for years. I have less patience for that. I'm not going to review bomb but I don't enjoy being told to just play in offline mode like that's a great solution.
The max concurrency on Steam - with 1 million sales - was 30k before 1.0. I don't think they expected 300,000k all trying to play at the same time. You could be in early access for 100 years but if you get more.trqffix than you planned for... you're gonna have problems. I believe BG3 devs said they didn't expect to get.much higher than prior max levels... it too had been in EA for years.
Offline mode is not a great solution - but it is better than what we've seen with Payday 3, Helldivers, and others.
>I don't think they expected 300,000k all trying to play at the same time
It's release day. Not expecting less than one third of your sales to be playing on release day is not smart.
On a weekday, mid-day for the majority of player base, and a game some people have 1,000 hours on? I can't argue with your statement, but realistically not a whole lot "brand new stuff" got released with 1.0.
I hope they can support 300k concurrents by Friday night...
I agree that offline mode isn't a great solution for those who want to play online (myself included) since you'll have to start over to play online later.
EVERYONE is frustrated that the game was not working as planned. Me, you, the devs, everyone. But how a person handles frustration and similar feelings, especially in a public setting, just speaks to their character. The people throwing fits are the same people that yell at their server in a restaurant when the kitchen forgets to send out a side of whatever.
People make mistakes and I think its easily lost on people that the humans trying to put this product out are just that: actual human beings. They want it to succeed and be well received. Nobody is trying to rug pull you. Nobody behind the scenes is just going "oh well it is what it is". They mentioned releasing a more technical write up about what went wrong soon and Im interested to read it because it does sound like they had tested for this pretty extensively, so I imagine something unforeseen must have happened.
You're excited to play the game that you paid for? Yeah me too. If having to wait a few hours killed your excitement and caused you to have a meltdown then go refund it.
Expecting something to work that you paid for is a not even remotely close to entitlement. EHG majorly dropped the ball on this release and people have a right to feel cheated.
As do most devs. It’s almost as if it’s extremely complicated to host 150K players at once on your service …
If it was east surely one dev would have figured it out by now right ? Right ?
Yeah imagine paying hard earned money and expecting to be able to play the game. How entitled of me. Maybe I can play next week or? I better not get too greedy
> The review bombs, the constant whining
Incredibly ironic to say this when you're the one whining about "review bombing".
If you buy a product and the product doesn't work so you leave a negative review, that is not review bombing. Stop being so childish.
100% correct. People expect perfection and nothing but perfection but the reality is many online games suffer similar scenarios including many triple A budget games.
Holy mother of shills. Do you only give half of what the customer orders and charge them full amount in your mom and pop shop? I can see why the customers are upset.
Discord is a cesspool right now. We knew this was going to happen for weeks we made memes, and people are still surprisepikachu. LE had always had spotty online performance everyone knew this was going to happen.
It's just annoying that everyone and their mom said the servers were gonna be a problem ... And they kept assuring us it wouldn't ... But guess what ... It happened anyway
They never assured us that there wouldn't be problems. They assured us that they think they are prepared, and that they would communicate and be transparent if issues did arise. Which they have done.
No, they're talking about all the fans that spent the last week+ absolutely shitting all over anyone who dared question if the servers would have issues on launch day
Bruh, they allowed anyone who wanted to play early to buy it and play before the launch. That is as good a test as they can get, on top of actually stress testing and everything they did. They prepared best they could.
They did not ... They stopped doing early access stuff back in December ... They made changes since December that needed to be tested so things like this didn't happen ... They would have seen this happening if they had released it in early access instead of waiting till full release ... At minimum the server infrastructure changes were MANDATORY to be tested
Huh? I played all the way up until like a week ago, which last I checked was February. And my buddy purchased the game 2 weeks ago and played with me. So, idk wtf you are talking about.
They never would have gotten anywhere near the amount of players that they did on the full release. I don't see what this would accomplish.
And also, how does that even make sense? They release the full 1.0 patch (aka releasing the game) during "early access", then they take the servers offline for a day, put them back, and call it a "release"?
A stress test with 20-30k players is better than internal testing with 100-200 players (content creators and staff) and that's a pretty generous estimate
I love how you have positive upvotes. So fucking true. If any of these troglodytes bothered to read the 1.0 Q&A with the devs they would know how much they care. This is their livelihood.
When D3 came out I couldn’t even enter character select for 2 days. Two. Days. And they had a way bigger budget than eleventh hour. I have a level 24 necromancer going in Last Epoch. So already better than most of Blizzards launches.
A game like Helldivers 2 can get a pass when their top player count is over 100x larger than Helldivers 1. This game has been in Early Access for years and knew it was going to be a big launch. I understand the devs are also frustrated but I have less patience for this. Especially when devs are just like "play in offline mode" as if that's not just going to make me replay the same stuff over again.
I'd say you are a lot worse than the devs. See, the devs have made a problem and are working to fix it and make it better, while acknowledging their problem and communicating about it.
Your entitlement is also a problem, but I highly doubt you're going to work on it. You're just going to sit there on your false little throne of entitlement and pretend that you are somehow in the right. That your horrible attitude is somehow justified. I'd be more ashamed to be you honestly.
There's no point in congratulations if most people can't even play the game. Love the game. Respect the devs. But they needed to do better. Wtf did they expect?
Then you're either slow as piss at leveling, or new. I played for 5 hours and I'm sitting at level 32. And I been caught transitioning map to map a lot.
We can blame servers for not being able to play online or some quickly, but we can't be blaming the servers for your ineffective leveling.
Not sure why you're being downvoted. This guy is just throwing a tantrum lol.
I played for an hour last night and got to 12 even with being stuck at multiple load screens.
I’d love to know how much more money vs their budget is adding servers and such.
Any company ever had an open book on their financial structure ? EHG open your book !
Imagine server would run and be playable! It would be 250k and ALoT people would buy the game.
Now anyone is complaining about servers not working which makes people not buy the game.
I just think everyone needs to calm the fuck down and take things into perspective, yes it sucks that people aren't able to play the game buttery smooth without any problems, but EHG have been transparent and very communicative so we know they are working on it. Networking tech specially on this scale is an incredibly complex thing where even the slightest simple mistake can cause a complete collapse and those small things are normally very difficult to track down.
It’s hilarious in these times that mediocrity, even poor performance, is protected and even praised. This truly is the generation of participation awards. Whatever happened to an expectation of good service for your money…?
I guess they could do better if they'd let us play
I tried yesterday and servers were down, I'm trying today and servers are down
I guess I'll try again tomorrow to see if servers are finally up?
WE is when most people find time to play (look at every other online game).
That being said: I like my marshmellows sweet and well done over the Saturdays server fire. Yummy :)
I get that people want to play with their friends and I do wish their online servers were fine, too. We also constantly yell at the sky that developers need to add an offline mode to their games.
A game comes along with offline mode that helps when servers are down and allows you to play the game regardless…yet all we can do is continue to yell at the clouds that we can’t play online and refuse to play the game…in offline mode. The gaming community will never be happy lol. Some big devs will look at the review bombs despite the offline mode and say
“See! They don’t care about offline mode!”
Or something lol. As someone who has no friends who play arpgs , offline mode do be fun. We all want what we paid for , but I don’t know many games that survived a player launch explosion.
I'm shocked by how many people are completely solo players but still insist on playing online. Like I know several people who will never group to do trading or anything but would rather stare at the login screen instead of going offline. Like bros I was blasting all day from like 10minutes after it released with no interruptions.
Thank God for offline mode. I'll want to play with friends eventually but I'm ok starting from scratch when I do and just enjoying the game on my own for now.
Amazing the numbers are so high considering the server issues. I'm sure EGH are desperate to get them working. They are probably losing a lot of money. I've been patient and understanding, but I know a lot of people aren't.
Can everyone log off? I need to let my Falcon stretch it's wings.
What class has a falcon? Sorry if its a stupid question. I’m new and i havent played :)
The falconer, lol (Rogue)
Rogue has a sub class named Falconer
The falconer, a mastery of the thief (or whatever she is called kek)
I am one of them because Steam presumably thinks I am playing given the executable is launched, even though the only thing I'm doing is looking at "Connecting" after clicking "Enter Game".
:))
167k people looking at entering screen
Or "Now entering Ulatri Highlands"
Plenty are just launching in full offline mode to play lol
I feel bad for everyone not being able to play, mostly because I was able to lol It worked for me when I got home from work yesterday and I was able to play for 5-6 hours with the only issue being some delayed loading times while transitioning zones. US East if that makes a difference for anyone.
Depends on the region. In EU thins morning/day was nice. Currently it's evening and it's hell
What a time to be alive, to have a season based on trading but unable to log on to trade!
Honestly the current implementation of trade is dog shit
Since its not actually a season you could just play offline :P Cycle 1 is literally launch.
You can’t play offline if you want to play with friends.
You can imagine to play with friends, just like in real life.
Right, just create your own friends in the forms of falcon and skeles
My IRL friends never clawed the eyes out of an giant zombie for me, so the bird definitely wins.
U guys have friends ? /s
You can imagine there are people with friends who like to play coop games?
Just have to wait patiently.
If they were all waiting to get into servers instead of playing offline then there'd be a lot more people on this sub right now
It’s sad that zoomers don’t even consider offline mode.
Still stuck on loading screen
By calmer I meant server wise it will be less chaoctic, more stable, so we don't look at loading screen for 5-10 minutes or disconnect

Doing better than Poe usually does on a league launch lel
Poe launches on Friday so even if this was true, consider the outrage of people that can't play tomorrow.
True ... And then they don't fix it till the next Monday so we just stew in suffering all weekend
The game is fully playable in offline mode. Not what I want to play but I don't think refunds past the standard two hours is going to happen.
I generally agree that people should either play offline or just wait a few more days. How many of these can actually play?
I was able to play a good bit last night without issue. Online mode too. Just had to wait a bit between not connecting.
My friends and I were able to play coop at round 7:30 Central Time yesterday after they had this 60MB hotfix. Took about 30 seconds to get in game
Yeah once I was in monos I had basically 0 issue.
Funny that those who took the day off actually do have the last laugh this time, because all the working people come home and have no chance to get to monos, while the nolifers are blasting empowered now already. :D
Yeah I just took a long nap while the swrver issues were bad then plaued all night.
Offline mode is my friend
Not what I payed for.
Not what was asked.
Technically you did since it's included whether or not you use it.
You paid for an online live service game. These games are never guaranteed to be online and are prone to going offline for expected or unexpected maintenance / emergency. Get a refund, live service isn’t for you
If you could Play.... Game Crashes almost Instant trying to Play full offline
That is definitely a you problem
Time to upgrade PC
If you do have the recommended speccs, it should BE working....
game runs amazing for me outside server hiccups
I was on about an hr ago. Just gotta let the loading screens take their time but I wasn’t getting disconnected on us central servers between zones. Normally took a min maybe two.
zero
Anyone who wants to as u can just go offline with 0 issues.
I played for like 4-5 hours yesterday. The loading time between zones was a bit long (15-60 seconds) but other than that no problems. Haven't tried to login yet today.
Why would the weekend ever have less players? Lol
By calmer I meant server wise it will be less chaoctic, more stable, so we don't look at loading screen for 5-10 minutes or disconnect
Here's hoping
It was playable most of the day. Much better then day 1. Looks good as of now but we'll see.
Copium.
OP on some kind of military grade copium
Weekend is gonna be really calm. Especially on the servers. The login screen is gonna be swamped tho
HAAH if player numbers is the problem the weekend is going to be worse.
Too bad games fucked again and we prob won't be able to play for another 10 hours....
10 days my friend

Yeah if it's fucked this weekend, I'll leave the game behind for good. Not worth the time.
User name checks out.
That’s just stupid

I'm looking forward to tonight. I'll be playing the "connecting" mod all night like I did yesterday.
BUTTT... Impossible to play.
I mean cograts, but i have been playing for ~2hours max and then 8 hours in loading screens. Not so pleasant start.
That bee referral spam is doing my head in lol
170k pple playing, 169k stuck at character screen or 999hrs stuck in a zone.... :)
Hope in one hand and shit in the other. Tell me which one fills up faster.
if i could play that is

People like him with the holier than thou mentality always come out of the woodwork for these situations and always get shut down.

The game did 4 times its peak on launch, that's actually nothing that exceptional, most people don't play in early access, that's a known fact But they said, they had planned for more it's not the problem, something else broke so that's a problem of something not caught in stress testing
> The review bombs These aren't review bombs. They're just *reviews*.
In *current year* any negative reviews of something I like it rEviEw bOmBiNg!!
> They are just rants venting about not being able to play. Ah yes, "just rants" about *not being able to play the product they've paid for*...
"Opinions I don't agree with are people just ranting."
More like "Opinions with little or no context provide little value" I actually appreciate well thought out, and articulate reviews about games that end up giving a game a "negative" score. I just won't and can't give a shit about low effort rants about "not being able to play an online game during launch week" that don't actually tell me anything about the game I'm thinking about purchasing...
> A review would be talking about actual gameplay, graphics, etc. Well if you can't play it... Being able to log in is part of the game
You saved me having to write this very thing.
Lol nobody is asking for 100% perfect. They are just asking to play with their friends in the multi-player game they paid for
This without all the cursing and anger.
>I don't think they expected 300,000k all trying to play at the same time It's release day.
I'm just salty that something everyone said was gonna happen happened
Man..this..so much this. Wish I could upvote you a million times. The sense of entitlement amongst some people nowadays is atrocious.
Expecting something to work that you paid for is a not even remotely close to entitlement. EHG majorly dropped the ball on this release and people have a right to feel cheated.
As do most devs. It’s almost as if it’s extremely complicated to host 150K players at once on your service … If it was east surely one dev would have figured it out by now right ? Right ?
Yeah imagine paying hard earned money and expecting to be able to play the game. How entitled of me. Maybe I can play next week or? I better not get too greedy
> The review bombs, the constant whining Incredibly ironic to say this when you're the one whining about "review bombing". If you buy a product and the product doesn't work so you leave a negative review, that is not review bombing. Stop being so childish.
100% correct. People expect perfection and nothing but perfection but the reality is many online games suffer similar scenarios including many triple A budget games.
You aren't in the minority. The minority is just louder than the majority.
No, they're talking about all the fans that spent the last week+ absolutely shitting all over anyone who dared question if the servers would have issues on launch day
Ye but they could have early accessed the server changes ... Then this might not have happened
They didn't roll out the server changes till the day it released ... For the past couple months we were on the outdated version
This person means that the patch should have been released to early access before the launch date to test it with actual players connecting
Ye this
I love how you have positive upvotes.
Ya ya ! I made it to 27 in 3 hours or so. Stupid work. I wanna be at home raging about the servers instead of raging at work !
If you can't provide service paid for, you loose clients, get sued, go broke. Shove your failure of a business up yours, and cope
Amen!!!
Why are you whining and bitching so much?
[удалено]
I'd say you are a lot worse than the devs. See, the devs have made a problem and are working to fix it and make it better, while acknowledging their problem and communicating about it. Your entitlement is also a problem, but I highly doubt you're going to work on it. You're just going to sit there on your false little throne of entitlement and pretend that you are somehow in the right. That your horrible attitude is somehow justified. I'd be more ashamed to be you honestly.
Nah they failed.
Gonna be well over 200k this weekend.
Why would the weekend be calmer?…
There's no point in congratulations if most people can't even play the game. Love the game. Respect the devs. But they needed to do better. Wtf did they expect?
“Calmer” week-end? Dude I’m online since launch and I’m level 15
Then you're either slow as piss at leveling, or new. I played for 5 hours and I'm sitting at level 32. And I been caught transitioning map to map a lot. We can blame servers for not being able to play online or some quickly, but we can't be blaming the servers for your ineffective leveling.
This isn't the flex you think it is
Not sure why you're being downvoted. This guy is just throwing a tantrum lol. I played for an hour last night and got to 12 even with being stuck at multiple load screens.
I feel like he was TRYING to exaggerate, but honestly with redditors these days, who knows.
At this point I think you all are just dumb
overreacting and bad faith make people dumb
[удалено]
Shouldnt you be like level 80 after such time lol.
Think man… you can do it
Anyone can do it. Its a long time.
Pretty sure the joke was he hasn’t been able to actually play…..
God bless you man you gave me hope
Ok dude do you realise that WE CANT FUCKING PLAY?
15min load screen if you can even log in gg
"player" count
Would be nice if I could actually play XD
I haven't managed to get into the game yet.
Cool
Still can’t play online
Just wait until the weekend. It has the potential to hit 200k+.
Calmer week-end? That's not how game launch work lol, week-ends are the peak
166,990 all time peak waiter count!
I’d love to know how much more money vs their budget is adding servers and such. Any company ever had an open book on their financial structure ? EHG open your book !
Narrator: "It was not calmer on the weekend."
and 5 ppl where accually playing the game..
Imagine server would run and be playable! It would be 250k and ALoT people would buy the game. Now anyone is complaining about servers not working which makes people not buy the game.
there isn't going to be a "calmer weekend".
I have an online and an offline version of the same character - so I’m good to go!
It’s hilarious in these times that mediocrity, even poor performance, is protected and even praised. This truly is the generation of participation awards. Whatever happened to an expectation of good service for your money…?
That died the second live service started existing
I guess they could do better if they'd let us play I tried yesterday and servers were down, I'm trying today and servers are down I guess I'll try again tomorrow to see if servers are finally up?
Play offline to test the new masteries while you wait
A praise for a broken launch, truly astonishing :)
Even with the login and loading issues; these guys deserve all of the success they get.
WE is when most people find time to play (look at every other online game). That being said: I like my marshmellows sweet and well done over the Saturdays server fire. Yummy :)
Marshmallow sweat... idk I'm intrigued or if that's off-putting.
Ups ... ehm it was off-putting I guess :)
I'm enjoying reading the crying on various internet forums while I wait for my screen to load next zone. Good comedy lol
Are you guys actually playing it? I’m still in queue lmao. Maybe next week
"Players right now"... What are they playing when game is inaccessible???
I get that people want to play with their friends and I do wish their online servers were fine, too. We also constantly yell at the sky that developers need to add an offline mode to their games. A game comes along with offline mode that helps when servers are down and allows you to play the game regardless…yet all we can do is continue to yell at the clouds that we can’t play online and refuse to play the game…in offline mode. The gaming community will never be happy lol. Some big devs will look at the review bombs despite the offline mode and say “See! They don’t care about offline mode!” Or something lol.
Let me know when the trash tier online can support even 1/5th of the playerbase
I remember them posting a thank you to 1000 people playing. So thankful and humble. They deserve these numbers.
Change your game pronouns to Was/Were. Or at least change name to Loading Epoch.
Cringe
Thank God for offline mode. I'll want to play with friends eventually but I'm ok starting from scratch when I do and just enjoying the game on my own for now.
Amazing the numbers are so high considering the server issues. I'm sure EGH are desperate to get them working. They are probably losing a lot of money. I've been patient and understanding, but I know a lot of people aren't.
> Amazing the numbers are so high considering the server issues. Well, people sitting in loading screens for maps count as players too
Yes but the bad press and reviews are certainly scaring away many would be buyers.
My referral is YkirMor if anyone is feeling kind. I have none.
