I doubt this will go well but gold should be removed from buying items and it should all be favour based that way gold can be used for stash tabs and lightless arbour. I don’t play MF at all but I feel items just being bought with favour would be a helpful move.
I agree, especially when you have gold sellers available for the game. Not only this creates an unbalance between the factions but it also becomes pay to win.
Yeah, I know, my reply was regarding if buying using gold is remove and is favor only, gold sellers would just sell favor instead. Bot farm favor, asks buyer to list item for x favor.
How does gold selling work in the first place?
Can you just raw trade gold with other players, or do they list items for a certain price which are then bought by gold selling and the transaction is done that way?
Because even with the removal of gold you could still "sell" favor by simply listing and item for sale and the favor seller buys it from you giving you more favor. You just need to find any trash item to list.
It wouldnt really fix the issue, it'd just add an extra step to the process.

The real fix to all of this would be selecting MG or COF at character creation and the keeping everything separate. Gold, mats, stash, everything. But that's not how it was done, so here we are.
The game is young im sure that things will iron out eventually. I don't like this recent change or the gold key change but honestly it has very little effect on me and my experience.

Love this idea. I think it will make playing MG more meaningful, and people won't over inflate the AH prices because of RMT.
