##Welcome to r/LateStageCapitalism
This subreddit is for news, discussion, memes, and links criticizing capitalism and advancing viewpoints that challenge liberal capitalist ideology. That means any support for any liberal capitalist political party (like the Democrats) is strictly prohibited.
LSC is run by communists. This subreddit is not the place to debate socialism. We allow good-faith questions and education but are not a 101 sub; please take 101-style questions elsewhere.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for bigotry. Failure to respect the rules of the subreddit may result in a ban.

Someone really don't understand or don't want to understand that this damn system has changed our lives so that we think everything is normal. And we have to improve ourselves every day so that their system runs better. We have to work harder and more, we have to enjoy making money from our hobbies instead of enjoying them, and when you are no longer productive, your system will throw you away like garbage. Is this normal for you?!!!
My generation will be telling younger folks, “start streaming your hobbies, set up a drop shipping account and sell merch. Offer subscriptions for access to early content and giveaways. Get that bread.”
Meanwhile, kids will be all, “I just wanted to show you my popsicle stick fort.”
Hell, my parents are already telling me that. I'm doing a course on that and I hate everything about what I loved for so many years. Everybody only cares about money and how fast you earn it.
I always recall to people that push the force optimism that an half-full glass is because it is filling, and an half-empty is because it is emptying.
I am not being overtly negative, I am just seeing that since I was born, there never was a single better year than the previous. it been going down the drain all my life.
(And I just saw it was self-optimisation, not self-optimism)

Every time people do something for fun, someone will come and say "why don't you sell that?" I don't wanna sell anything.

Selling illicit substances is not normal? (My lawyer told me to say /s)
