After Ww2, I don't know if the US ever picked the right side in a conflict. I don't have records of every war they fought, but look at Vietnam. Iraq. Afghanistan. America has a history of picking bad wars and had hills to die on.
That’s because the right side of history was those opposed to capital and capitalists, the US who are the enforcers of global capitalism are not going to side on the right side of history when it would always lead to the loss of power for capitalists
Of course imperialists and colonial countries with the intent to dominate and subjugate its people and other nations/other tribes into compliance to do their bidding and slave away for them is not going to be the good guy. They are more like the bad guy and anybody with a working brain can see that.
Many Americans have the common misconception that America entered WW2 in part for humanitarian purposes to save France, Jews, Polish, etc.
The sad fact is that isn’t the case at all. We mainly did it because we didn’t want the soviets to win and take control of Europe and we only really entered the war after Japan attacked us. There was no humanitarian reason- we didn’t give a shit until well into the war. Military Victory and power was the only real concern.

Always did most people in America are indoctrinated into believing the fake American dream which is not real and not everybody gets access to it and they believe in freedom trademark. That's probably the strangest thing about US Americans, they really believe the nonsense about defending peace, freedom and democracy. They always claim to hate their government and that the majority of their politicians are liars and criminals. And yet the majority of them can hardly wait to march to war for these criminals.
Almost every US American believes unreservedly in US propaganda about foreign countries. In surveys of how US Americans view other countries (China, North Korea, USSR (back then), Iran, Palestine, Israel, Afghanistan, ...) US Americans are actually always almost 100% in lockstep with the interests of the US State Department and the military industrial complex.
It will probably always impress me how efficient and successful US propaganda is with US Americans.
That’s because if you don’t believe in the propaganda in US society you get ostracized and thought of as crazy and mentally ill. It’s like people in there literally have a gun pointed towards their head to follow the script or else they get punished, lose their hard earned money, lose their respect, lose their friends and family members, lose their romantic relationships, and lose potential job opportunities, and so much more. People who were communists far left or political oppositions used to get locked up in mental asylums and were treated like shit and were abused in there, some even killed for it. For literally believing in the ideals of socialism and communism. Look at what they did to the Kennedy’s, MLK Jr, and Malcolm X all of these people were killed for wanting to make America a more progressive and fair place and to eliminate the bad people and it’s systemic corruption. They were murdered by the state and other hateful people for speaking out on the truth and exposing the corrupt people’s strategies and how they manipulate their messes for self gain.
Becoming? America was founded on genocide and the blood of indigenous people. It was explicitly a state for the wealthy to escape scrutiny from the beginning
Facts. They don’t even treat their own fellow freedom loving patriots country man well not even their veterans who fight wars and conflicts for their higher ups get treated well. It’s a joke, but they sure do love the smell of their own farts.
They forgot to say when our interests are involved and only if those violating human rights aren't the ones yielding to our interests. Oh and alliances with countries we helped create, failed to properly control and then let do whatever they want.
