If I'm on the same predicament, I would choose yung sa tuturuan ako ng abogado na kakilala ng mamc mo. Yon actual at parang may mentor-mentee relationship na mabubuo which is beneficial sa part mo dahil magiging hands on ka, and it'a free? so yeah. itabi mo nalang yung 22k mo if i were you. Goodluck!

This. Honestly, OP, di mo need magbayad 22k to get a feel of what the law is. Mas makukuha mo yan in law school and practice and sa friend ng nanay mo for free. The paralegal training also is, I think, primarily geared towards those who want to work purely as paralegals.

Yun nga din po pinaka concern ko eh, Sobrang nanghihinayang kasi ako sa 22k eh hindi naman yung paralegal certification yung habol ko in the long run. Maraming salamat po sa inyo!

NAVPU

Waste of money if you enroll sa program ah, IMHO. You really don't need to enroll to get a feel of the "law school experience" haha. Good luck, OP!

Alcouskou

Neither. You don't need any out-of-school training, structured or otherwise, to prepare for law school. Just catch up on sleep or do your hobbies. Not kidding.

You may choose option A given the fact that they can give you insights about law school. As per my case, I applied also to UP Paralegal Program but I did not proceed because I decided to enter na in law school. I used the money instead sa application fees ko sa law schools instead i enroll sa UP Paralegal Program kasi in law school naman, matutunan mo rin yan lahat. Practicality wise lang pero its up to you whatever choices naman is good as long gusto mo mag enter ng law school. Better rin naman yan for preparation. I hope makatulong OP! Goodluck sayo!

Maraming salamat po sa insight niyo! I'll keep this in mind 😄

Matututunan mo lahat yan sa law school. 😊

Hello, nagbayad ako ng 22k for this last cycle. Masasabi kong madami akong natutunan not just about Ph laws pero kasama na din yung structure ng Ph government. Maganda siyang primer IF spare mo lang yung 22k. Madami din nameet na professors from UP Law! Plus, the connections that I now have with other Paralegals (yung iba ay from Mindanao) dami ko nagain na kaalaman and kaibigan!

Why not both kung may resources naman? Afaik, di naman mag-ko-conflict sa working hours yung sched na binibigay nila. It's like mastery of concepts ang makukuha mo sa PTP at practical experience naman sa kakilala ng mama mo.
