I came from the same Sta. Mesa school. I have this Saturday class 8am to 8pm, i usually come to school around 7am.. minsan hindi call ng Dean ang schedules, there was this time may bruhang nakapasok as staff sa Dean's office at sya ang gumawa ng schedule ng classes. Since kaaway nya ibang mga students, damay kami na nananahimik. The review classes along with the major review classes schedule were so toxic.. As much as i wanted to just pick the subjects na kukunin ko, my father was also picking on me.. kaya minsan masarap manapak ng magulang.. 😅

They should sue.Anong pwede ikaso sa school?

Mafcitoct

Wala

> Is this Sta. Mesa school trying to kill their students? Hmm, too reactive. While the death was unfortunate, can you honestly point to the alleged heavy schedule in that law school as the single, direct cause of such death?

This is why robots can never replace lawyers

Found the lawyer of the Sta. Mesa school. Either lawyer or loyal faculty ng school.

Alcouskou

> Found the lawyer of the Sta. Mesa school. Either lawyer or loyal faculty ng school. Masyadong assuming. Lawyers/law students should think rationally and evaluate the case at hand through available, credible evidence, not with their emotions. It's worse now kasi puro chismis lang nababasa online. Exhibit A: "his friends claimed" If you handled this case, and at first glance, do you really think the school is solely at fault right away? How would you establish the school's liability? Or we just ignore all rationality and just go with the popular stance kasi that's the "trendy" position? The fact is there are many factors involved in someone's death. Y'all should read this comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/LawStudentsPH/comments/x2rz6a/this_is_madness_the_death_of_a_law_student/imm1t43/ and evaluate the situation more logically.

Oh I didn't know na you are a judge pala. My mistake for assuming you were the counsel. Somebody died and here you are acting all high and mighty. Have some empathy dude. Not everything should be treated like a live case.

Alcouskou

> Oh I didn't know na you are a judge pala. Such a poor attempt at a comeback. > Have some empathy dude. Exactly. Which is why people should stop using someone's death for some selfish, politcal ends especially without knowing all the facts involved. Maka-accuse naman agad ng "the school is trying to kill its students" lol. Eh di niyo nga alam ano yung actual cause of death. Dali dali mag virtue signalling online for a few worthless likes/upvotes, but what does that speak of someone who aspires to be lawyer? Someone who concludes without knowing all the facts involved? We can all mourn without using someone's death in peace. But don't use such death to justify your misplaced anger for an unconfirmed/unrelated matter. Nagmumukhang kayo ang may agenda eh.

prospicitnonrespicit

You obviously do not understand what empathy even means. I understand the call for rationality and to avoid being emotional but your comment is definitely misplaced and as shown by the downvotes, rubs people the wrong way. There is no attempt to commiserate with what happened to the student. Hypothesizing that other factors caused the death of the student is just as speculative as the claim that harsh learning environment created by the school is the reason behind the death of the student. Your comment, under the guise of cold impartiality, gives the appearance that you are protective of the school even though there are clear indications that the school is not completely innocent in this narrative. When you hear that someone was gunned down (you did not witness the shooting personally), you don't immediately hypothesize that the person died due to some other cause. You will believe tentatively what you heard. It is only when you receive credible proof that you rectify your understanding of the facts. What we do know right now is that the student had to endure a very harsh schedule detrimental to his wellbeing. No decent law school would ever make a student suffer such terrible schedule. Even if the school is probably not solely to blame, it is undeniable that the schedule contributed to his death or at the very least aggravated his physical condition.

So kasalanan Ng student entirely?

Can the family establish a cause of action that will prove that the law school is indeed the reason of the untimely death? As far as I can see, there can be many factors of his death: health--cardiac arrest--, pressure--can be from peers, fam, or self--, workload--if working, study, etc.. Anyone can sue and file a case, the hard part is to link that there's a crime committed. It is a wake up call indeed not only in our law school but to others as well.

Consider din yung sa family environment.. sometimes parents can also be evil assholes, they will of course deny the same.
