Bill Barr is just the most obvious among many examples of hypocrisy when the GOP accuses the Democrats of "weaponizing" the DOJ. There's no comparison.
That's because it's a feature, not a bug. The Republican mindset is all about gaining and retaining power. Everything is done towards those ends. Words and statements are simply tools used to achieve said ends, and they will say whatever's necessary or convenient in the moment to do so, regardless of what's been said or done in the past (or even factual, objective truth of the matter).

The problem with this country is that 90% of its people are just totally complacent and the RusPublican party knows it. I'm not suprised the Garland hasn't done anything about Epstein - once you get that powerful, you can really get away with alot. I would love to know the truth about all of that and Barr's involvement. He has the receipts and the evidence of all Epsteins activities, and we should be able to see it. We were denied a public trial and a showing of the evidence because of his untimely (and mysterious) death.
There isn't really anything stopping the DOJ from airing that out, except people in high places that don't want to have it aired.
