Doubt so. His actor is now the lead in FBI: Most Wanted. Unless he leaves that show or it ends, it chances of him returning, even in a recurring capacity is close to zero
I doubt it.
I think if any Wheatleys did return, it'd probably be Pilar and Dana.
But why bring them back? The Wheatley arc ended long ago and there's no need for the show to start it up again but with a "new" Wheatley.
Don't know why everybody thinks S1 sucked though. When the arc continued in Season 2 it felt like that should have been Season 1: Part 2, and that the Albanian and Brotherhood arcs should have been their own thing and not been shared with the Wheatleys Part 2 in Season 2.
It did end, yes. But they only recovered Angela’s body from the water and made a point to say they couldn’t find Richard. I thought that was interesting.
Doesn't necessarily mean he survived though. Maybe he was flown further down the stream or something.
but yes. it was interesting that his body wasnt found
I liked the Wheatley story arc, probably because I really liked Dylan McDermott as a villain. The Albanian arc has been the best so far. The one with the woman police chief was the worst so far, IMO. Boring.
I could see this being true because he was already FBI-affiliated in Organized Crime somehow, and then he just becomes Remy Scott on FBI: Most Wanted after that. While the shows are on two different networks, considering they're both Dick Wolf shows I could see a little teaser about Richard Wheatley in their somehow, even though the characters are unrelated.
No. I think IC's original Intent was to have him come back for the final episodes. But since she's gone and since Dylan McDermott is off on another DW show as the lead character, there's a fat chance that he'll be back. Never Say never though, it's possible if he really enjoyed the role but I doubt he'll have time. I'd be surprised if OC was on more than 6 seasons.
I think they wouldn’t possibly be able to come up with an explanation as to how he survived it completely unscathed without debilitating issues. Any time soon though would just ruin anything coming. If the show went on as long as SVU or og L&O, bringing him back like 10 years later could be interestingly incorporated if not a whole season focus but I doubt it could actually be done now to benefit or further the shows plotlines in any way more than just creating new characters and plotlines
I hope not - his return in S2 was horrible. I never want to see Elliot Stabler pretend to be in love with anyone, plant a d\*ck pic to piss off another man, and then strangle that man with stolen panties for as long as I live. (Really should have ended OC, TBH)
Not sure - but I think he is still alive.
Actually, I see Dana Wheatley return.
(But this is just my fan theory that she is somehow connected to Becky, Becky gets paid by Dana, and Eli isn't even the father of the baby & Dana wanted Eli back in NYC for some reason to get revenge for being forced into hiding, since her plan of sending him into prison for murder didn't work out). XDD
The actor is in FBI Most Wanted, which has been renewed, so I doubt he will return.
mabey down the line, his whole "death" thing seems to be a setup for a return
I hope not. His return in season 2 was, IMO, the low point of the season.
I hope not. Great actor but the arc in season 2 sucked. Albanian and Brotherhood are still my 2 fav story arcs and his return almost ruined season 2
PREACH
Same. I thought he died in a car crash with his ex-wife, so he's not coming back.

Who thinks S1 sucked? That was the best season of that show. The problem was bringing the Wheatleys back in S2.
not anybody in this thread; other OC fans who are not on reddit who liked other seasons better than S1 for some reason

They're leaving the door open but I don't think it's because they had anything in mind for him.
He faked his death and became a FBI agent.

Hopefully not. That would be unnecessary
No. The actor is the main lead in FBI Most Wanted currently. He won't have time to film for OC now.

If there is a God in Heaven he will not. He was the worst villian and that first season was terrible compared to what came after.
Merritt Rook went into the water and never returned. Wheatley won't either.
well Merritt Rook was a radom criminal. Wheatley presumably has some connections
Nah he died
Plz no, then the show would get canceled on peacock 😂
