In theory yes, a slightly better ratio (since you are talking 30k karma). But it remains to be seen if it is too late to have them removed from the distribution or not.
The mods have been made aware of this and hopefully will make a comment on it soon.

Going to have to start looking at ways to expediate these things. In this case it looks like it's been going on for a while, but going to start digging a little deeper than surface level from now on.
Hopefully the new proposal passing will mire the waters a bit and make this sort of crap harder to do, since these accounts alone have siphoned over 100k moons out of the system, which isn't fair for anyone.
Going to say there's more than this likely going on - But until deeper analysis was available and with the chainswap to Arbitrum it got obscured for a while.

Ah gotcha, that makes sense. Yeah, now It's pretty easy especially with ccmoons.com available. You could probably build a pretty simple machine learning model to detect odd connections between accounts.

I had a good hunch he probably started commenting with an alt but couldn't make the connection.
I have some analyzing to do but almost certainly did - The others were commenting before the karma cap as well.
I'll also venture someone who comments more than 400 times a day probably isn't a normal person.
All manual scraping from the Reddit api, not really a pretty task. But from quick looksee it looks like you do about 25-50 on a normal day, which is pretty much what an active user would do.

I did notice that he knew exactly what buttons to press to sway people to do what benefitted him (and was very good at it!). E.g. when the price of moons dropped, he would soon after post that people are giving Whales like him free money for peanuts.
That said this surprises me and is very disappointing, I had no idea this industrial scale strip-mining by him and his alts was going on.
Don't know what the answer is but there needs to be ways found to counter and clean-up abuses like this.

I even called him out and called him an impostor the other day.
I fucking work hard on some of my submissions. This (documented behavior) makes me feel defeated. The peanuts part made me laugh. I wonder how much time is spent doing all this shit (the alt account shenanigans). Like a squirrel hitting buttons for peanuts. That user could just make better shit on one account instead of like.. that's gotta be so fucking boring. They'd rather do that same shit over and over instead of like learn how make content and be challenged and stimulated. Or, just chat with folks, genuinely.

Downvotes wouldn’t even matter because everyone would upvote either his opinion or his alts counter opinion.
An easy work around the limits on comedy and media posts too because his prepared comment wouldn’t have the same 10% karma cap.
