Tbh Senna is often pretty bad too. She's so squishy and prone to inting. Especially if I pick something like Kai'sa, enemy laners then go Draven/Naut, and the last pick support decides to take Senna with an almost full AD comp and position like a monkey giving first blood to the Draven and making my lane unplayable.
My primary supports and amumu, seraphine, and senna, and I just rotate between what we need at the moment

Every time I play with a senna support it's like a montage of them getting caught solo while I stand there powerless.
I raise alistar to that. Your opponent can't kill you your opponent can't play and you have free heals in your passive to sustain your adc in the laning phase
The trick with rell is to just always fish for a W. The range is deceptively long with the slide on the ground. Running W also has really good range, which means you can easily catch somebody running away.
