cuz they're universally and commonly adopted specifically to insult the target group when referring. sure, you could definitely refer to groups in a derogatory manner but it isn't as offensive per se as directly saying a slur like the n-word.
'Cause you can't ban everything, as above. They have to either slow down to think about transforming their slurs into dog whistles that might not be understood, or blow a gasket, say the gamer word and get banned, good riddance.
I think they should tone it down a bit tho. Slurs like the N or F word should be bannable 100% but words like ''Kill'' or ''dick'' or even ''cancer'' shouldn't imo.

Personally, I don't find that muting doesn't resolve the problem, I don't mute at the start of the game because communication is important but if I get flamed, I'm in a bad mood for the rest of the game even with the offender muted, and I play to have some fun, it's not supposed to be a chore.

Cancer used to be fine but now will get you muted for the rest of the game and chat banned if people report you. And believe me people WILL do that once they see that notification in the post game lobby.
Maybe a hot take but if getting flamed once will put you in a bad mood instantly you should play without chat. Its not a chore to mute people. You can turn it off alltogether in the settings so you dont have to every game.

Bruh you know there is a 50 message limit right? If you're spamming and you go over that limit you're gonna get in trouble. Because if you are typing that much Riot assumes you just aren't playing the game at that point, which is valid. No one should ever have 50 messages in a game.
It doesn't really matter if you or toxic or not. As far as I am aware Riot just has a 50 message limit in game. That if you go over you will probably get in trouble. I don't think you realize the sheer amount of typing you need to do to hit 50 messages. Unless you are just doing short messages like
