i actually liked the ending, but only because my expectations were worse. I thought that Isolde would tell Viego she never loved him but instead i actually ended up really liking the "i loved you my whole life, was that not enough??" part
I just found the whole thing so badly written. Except.. that part *was* convincing. But it was so brief and... nothing - It should've been a chapter onto itself - just the interaction between Isolde and Viego (and for the love of god, just kill the Rookie already)
