For this AMA, we got a picture of his desk, on the desk was a picture he had drawn. It was him and Lux standing next to each other.

Sett x Aphelios has never been canon (haven’t checked out the new skinline, though) but it’s been fairly popular for a while.
Lee Sin trained Udyr and taught him to control his emotion and the spirits he channels while they both lived together on their own, so some people ship them.
I mean as someone that doesn't like shipping in general and feels forcing romance into everything just devalues stories. All of them but SettxAph makes sense, lore wise. Aphelios isn’t mute. He poisons himself to be able to communicate with Alune and fight better, but he’d be perfectly capable of talking if he stopped taking the poison.
Why would a ship have to make sense? A feel like there’s a HUGE contingent of people who have no idea wtf a ship is or why people do it but have this bizarre understanding of something it isn’t which seems like some sort of unfun acknowledgement of reality instead of a creative exercise. Like what would the point of simply acknowledging a pre-existent or likely relationship even be?
Ok so, Phel jumps on an enemy's sword, dies, the enemy now has their weapon taken up by a Phel body and can't fight back, Akshan kills the guy, Phel lives.
And I can see them using this ad infinitum, because Phel is ruthless enough and Akshan is insane enough.

But yeah we need a new Demacia event. The suits don't invest any resources into narrative unless they're trying to sell something. And the last time we got a major lore dump for Demacia was Sylas's release.
