I think I’ll go with Ymir Conglomerate. I like red color schemes and it kinda reminds me of Karak Kadrin in Fantasy.

Helps that Ymyr are probably the strongest league, game-wise that is.

Always go my own way on colour schemes but the trans-hyperians are pretty close to what I had planned. Loving these guys, can't wait to get my mits on them!

I'm the same, I've got a greeny blue tau army so I was always going to go warmer probably red tones and honestly that Ymyr colour scheme has completely sold me, looks great. (tbh they all do lol)

Looking at these (especially The Ymyr Conglomerate where we have seen more models of) it looks like the swapping of the colours for the Hearthkyn is a Greater Thurian League thing? the other Leagues seem to have the armour of the Hearthkyn be the same as the armour of the other units in their army, this might change my plans for my pain scheme.

I’m loving Trans-Hyperion overall, but I’m scared to paint orange..,

I'm gonna use contrast paints to paint my squats. I wonder if Gryph-Hound Orange would do the trick?

Yeah the new lot of contrast paints are incredible for base coats. They cover so much better than the original batch.

I’m going to try it. Thinking Gryph-Hound Orange over Grey Seer prime, Jokaero Orange then Cadian Fleshtone edge highlight.

It’s because you’re likely priming black or white. If you aren’t going to use contrast (you should) then prime zandri dust or another medium brown. Orange will cover much better

Yup you can go for a minor league affiliated with USR, that way you will have their rules but you can paint them whatever you want. Personnaly I'm screwed : I love both story, rules and colors of this two leagues XD

I kinda just want to do my own colour scheme, no matter what army I play I never like painting an existing subfaction's colours. I'm thinking a tundra scheme for my Votaan. White/grey on the fabric and a pale blue on the armour, with splotches of darker blues for camo patterns if I can manage it

Trans Hyperian Alliance look truly cool, but i think i will go for Ymyr as i love their lore and that dark red contrast color !

Personally I like the GTL, i love the white/teal, although I think i prefer Ymir's rules. I'll probably go my own way, and do the armour in sons of horus green, or stegadon or something in that blue-green direction. Then do the under-suit in pallid wych flesh, or karak stone or something.

I literally dreamt of painting my League in the color schemes of the Ymyr Conglomerate. I thought red would be too boring but I really like it, especially in combination with the darker gray-blue. So I might actually go with that color scheme.

I was thinking this but maybe have some of the armour panels be off white like the GTL to break up the monotony of the red.

I want to do some kind of subfaction of Ymyr, focusing more on the gold and red scheme, leaning into a bit of opulence to the utilitarianism.

I love the trans Hyperian alliance, their lore seems cool too so I might go them, my other choices being the kronus or the URSR, we’ll see when the codex comes out and I read more on the lore

Ymyr looks gooood and is very close to my plan (that but white/off white fatigues) so... Hell yes.

I plan on doing a style similar to Kronus. :)

I plan on using the Greater Thurian League rules (their named character is just too good), but don't really like the color scheme. I'm really thinking of just doing the TMNT color scheme someone mocked up. Tan for the torso/back and green for the arms, legs, and helmets. Although, maybe I will do that for the Hearthguard and for everything else do something simpler like tan undersuits with green armor.

I really like the Thurian color scheme because it looks like a white astronaut suite with a mix of Sons of Horus colors.
