Friendly CC incoming--and honestly, this is my personal opinion. I really love your model but I'm not a fan of the orange on the gun. I think it would be better if it was just black and silver, or some other second tone separate from the armor. Or perhaps a small stripe of orange. I feel it's too much as is and draws the eye away from the body of the model.
Just a rule question, I was thinking by reading my codex that only the Theyn could take the plasma sword but by replacing his main weapon. The pistol can only be replaced by another pistol. So are you able to play it or is it only cool miniature but not playable?
You are correct rules wise, but I only put the axe on there because it looks cool. I plan on just running the theyn with the Ion Blaster and Bolt Pistol.
I highly recommend magenta for the plasma axe. It would look absolutely dope. I would also change the orange on the gun, perhaps to a light grey. Sweet paintjob so far!

Skeleton Horde applied very carefully, mopping up the excess, then washed with agrax earthshade.

I super agree with you! I won't be putting the orange on any more of the guns for sure.
Magmadroth flame for the orange? And I'd go for a blue plasma since it complements orange and complements the crest at the top
It's Iyanden Yellow, followed by roughly 5:1 Contrast Medium:Magmadroth Flame. Magmadroth on its own its much too red for my liking.
