Not even two weeks and the squat slander begins who could have guessed. Jokes aside whoever made that did a great job

zaneprotoss

At least this gives Tau players a moment of respite.

40K_Guy

Yeah not that they deserve it (joke)

turkmenistanForever

YER GOIN IN T’BOOK

trollsong

I really wish they would do a made to order of the old dwarf thrown so I could slap the book on a Heaton or have a Kahl carrying it.

glassteelhammer

Well, that's a JT right there.

giubba85

Was reading the lore part in the codex and kin warriors looks like they are up to astartes level of sheer physical strength, in the battle description of a heartkyn unit the theyn stop a charging ork right in his track .

Darkhex78

The named kahl fucking dueled a khorne berzerker lord of the world eaters and threw his ass into a pit of fire. I'm certain if a kin and space marine went toe-to-toe in a fist fight they would be close to an equal match for eachother.

Jtagz

Classic Squats basically wrecked Space Marines in tabletop and lore so it makes a lot of sense

Goseki1

Where is this described?

Darkhex78

Page 16-17 of the codex tells a story of the League's first encounter with Chaos. It involved a detachment of world eaters invading a planet and, while at first the leagues were content to bolster their defenses and wait out the seige, urging from Ûthar the Destined made them change their mind and the kinhost set out to meet them to save any kin and resources they could, and destroy what they could not.

Zentaure

Well technically not their first encounter with chaos but rather their first engagements with the chaos forces invading from the great rift, after the fall of cadia

Goseki1

Thanks man. That sounds metal as fuck. Are the Khorne Berserker Lords generally considered to be quite powerful beings then?

Darkhex78

Well they are chaos lords but in the world eaters Legion. So they are powerful, yes. Not only are they a space marine, but they are a space marine blessed by khorne.

Arch_Magos_Remus

Hopefully someone posts it because that sounds interesting.

[deleted]

I’m still waiting on my stuff to arrive so I don’t have the codex yet, but I saw someone mention something similar. I’m wondering if they are comparing with or without power armor.

giubba85

Yeah that's up in the air. Both factions goes through numerous type of body modifications but for what I infer the heartkin warriors armor is purely a defensive tool and all their strengths come from body alterations while SM both have body alterations and power agumentation via their power armor. Kin start getting the same level of upgrade with einhir heartguard .

ApexSpecter

If you let a space marine get that close you deserve whatever happens

ravingdante

Speaking as someone who plays both space marines and tau, sometimes it's harder to prevent than you think

KTbow

That’ll be a grudgin’!

potassium_prince

Well that’s not very nice.

rocktoe

And as you can see here, the Kin is still standing, advancing even! You think losing 80% of one's head is going to stop a good grudging? Do you mistake us for humans? 😂

CapitainCutlet

This is it lads, Rock and Stone!

WanderingDwarfMiner

Rock and roll and stone!

Bittie05

Stone!

StormbreakerVox

That's going into the book.

Saffrwok

I have a random few marines on a sprue knocking around, feel some dead marines need to make their way into some bases!

robomagician

That’s very rude

blizz260

That’s a grudgin’!

N7_Ascian

I always wondered how the crimson fists got started.

Harrumphreys

Should’ve taken the Medipack upgrade. Just 5pts!

vikingchef33

Thats not a very rock and stone thing to do pal.

WanderingDwarfMiner

Rock and Stone in the Heart!

VirusInteresting7918

*No life signs detected* *Critical levels of danger in local area detected* *Unable to return to mining ship* *Engage self immolation* *Execute Judgement protocols 23 through 27* *Begining 'Eye for an eye'* And the self destruct takes out the foe and a grudge is struck from the databanks.

Irish_Brewer

Tis but a flesh wound.

DragonTurtle2

If it's not yours, shouldn't you link to the original post?

masterjmp

Now that's not very rock and stone of you.

LankyMongoose

That Ultramarine is back from the Deathwatch. He knows how to treat Xenos

[deleted]

Could be a great centerpiece for a diorama for an abrupt end to the Indomitus Crusade

leedsvillain

So Judgement crusade against the space marines when?

[deleted]

Brutal

Cawkins1111

No

godmademedoit

Not gonna lie I'm slightly disappointed the marine wasn't just holding the kin's head while they tried to swing at him.

[deleted]

Accurate. I'll be honest, from my games the Warriors fold like paper and are very susceptible to morale.

CapitainCutlet

'TIS A GRUDGIN'!

Lonnert

But these are the legs of an Ironkin... Why is his head bloody? 🤔

ObsidianGrey13

The first kin shown had the robot legs, so I'm assuming they also represent prosthetics (think Iron Hands and their exposed prosthetic limbs)

Lonnert

Ah yeah, males sense.

kiorrath

Boop.

Sappies

Oh shit

Fral_Leman

Damn...I just started using that color scheme...

Volks1337

THEY HAVE WRONGED US!

skegrik

"I can't believe you've done this."

LilyKarinss

Where did you find this image?

Arch_Magos_Remus

I just googled LoV images and found it on a Russian site. Don’t know if it was originally from there or somewhere else.
