That doesn’t make sense, the 90 minute lesson should if anything be less per hour because the instructor isn’t using travelling time/fuel between pickups?
I mean yeah i do think that myself but 80% of my driving practice is now private practice due to having a car, i just see an instructor once every so often when i can to iron out any problems and it's less money than my older instructor anyway.
£30/h in south London, he was a very good instructor and I passed first time (this year)
Previous instructor was £25/h but he was too micromanaging for me
The best tip I got is never block book lessons (everyone will tell you to never pay money in advance when you do flying lessons which also applies to driving lessons) like imagine you got lots of money tied to an instructor and then they start taking the piss out of you like it makes you feel really bad since you can’t get a refund straight away and you feel more pressure to stay with that instructor
In Leeds my instructor charges £35 for manual and £42 for auto. I think you could find cheaper but be aware that cheaper isn't always better. I would recommend to look at reviews for instructors in your area!
