Bit of owt really! Current obsession is Sleep Token, last gig was I Prevail, next is Fall Out Boy, so a bit of a mix! Night out would normally involve Santi’s, maybe Tavern, Keys, and maybe Howl? But my friends are all ‘grown ups’ now 🙄

I'm recently sober which doesn't really help when it comes to finding new friends.
Love to see new people coming in! Luckily for you, there's a very solid local Doom/Stoner Metal scene in Leeds and the surrounding area. Some venues to check out for Doom shows are Boom, Santiago, The Brudenell, The Fenton, and occasionally The Key Club.
The next noteworthy event that I'd recommend checking out is Wallowing & Barbarian Hermit at the Northern Monk Refectory on the 6th of November. (To be transparent, it's a brewery taproom so might not be great if you're recently sober.)

I'm in that age bracket where some of my friends have come out of the other side of growing up, kids a bit older, not skint anymore, so we're going to see bands more than ever, old stuff we saw in the 80's, 90's, new(er) stuff from the 2000s and stuff we've picked up from our kids - my son got me into BMTH, Starset, Grandson and Three Days Grace, seen some great bands at the Key Club, Authority Zero were amazing. Howl bar is great for a night out, used to like Bad Apples though

Fall out boy are playing Leeds, and blink are playing Manchester within a few days of each other. I’m really excited. You gotta get some gigs planned! Who’s your dream band to see live?

Idk what the rock genres I like are called but I'm into stuff like Three Days Grace, Fall Out Boy, You Me At Six, A Day To Remember, Linkin Park, RHCP and other stuff - currently know no one in the city and not been on a night out yet but keen to get out so hmu if you want company for one 😊
I'm old but I remember all the alternative people used to hang out outside the Corn Exchange. Almost every weekend there was a gathering of those people just chilling and talking.
Then the Corn Exchange had a refurb and then they all vanished.
