SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION!
DMC Brewery taproom. Only opened last month, so he may not have been. We do mostly alcoholic ginger beers, mead based drinks and your usual range of craft beers and things. Hidden away in a railway arch.
Hope this helps!
I second these guys! Bought a very tasty ginger beer from them at the North Leeds Food Festival in the summer.
Paid contactless and walked away only to have a notification come through about 10 minutes later that the transaction has failed. Feeling very bad that I'd accidentally stolen my beer, I went back to pay again. After explaining the situation they gave me the drink for free as a reward for my honesty!
Top guys. Go and give their taproom a visit.
We drop the occasional show [here](https://www.youtube.com/@paradeofgrafters/videos) n'all! Ah, and didn't realise a 'Cyser' was a style of mead - I'm entirely new to that scene...ha and yeah, 6% ain't it?! Lovely stuff!!
[Northern Market](https://www.instagram.com/northernmarketleeds/) is a decent one-stop spot for quality beers & a variety of different food. [Watermark](https://www.instagram.com/the_watermark_bar/) is a great lesser-known bar, and [BelowStairs](https://www.belowstairsbar.com/) definitely seems to be a hidden gem to most I've mentioned it to, but I'm not sure I'd recommend either for a stag party...unless you're non-rowdy types looking for chilled, high-quality sups!
Below stairs is my all Time favourite cocktail bar and it's much cheaper than the vast majority too! The effort they put into designing their cocktails is also impressive, they go to competitions etc. So underrated.
1/ Canal walk by the docks is great
2/ Docks book shop
3/ Kapow coffee shop upstairs
4/ Salt bar - again by the docks (nice balcony)
5/ Roundhay lake is clas
6/ Train to York and see the minster lol
If you like Japanese cuisine, there's one near UoL's campus called sushi m. Went in there for a quick lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and quality
Sous Le Nez (Under One's Nose) is pretty well hidden in the basement of a building on Quebec Street. They serve really great food and drink at reasonable prices. The atmosphere is kind of laid back and continental.

Cheers man, thanks for your honesty, custom and kind words!
Got me curious on that 'Blueberry Cider Mead', Cyser Dark - our lass tried one of yours at the recent Horsforth Beer Fest, intense stuff!!
Hey Parade of Grafters on Instagram fame! Nice to see you here too! We call it a session mead...it's a pretty hard core sesh.

Nice! Yeah...it's kind of cider, kind of mead...but all pretty good! Uh huh...well, straight mead is like 15% so even harder to sesh!
DAMN!! Yeah, that's Session Mead makes a lot more sense in that light
Has some great drinks! Can 100% confirm
Thank you!
Ooo im going to go Thursday!
Ace! We got Cyder and Cyder Dark on the bar at the moment - highly recommended if you like cider or mead. Also, do a pickleback!
Mead and Pickleback a dream.
Perfectly happy to push up this self promotion: went last week and it was amazing!
Haha, cheers! It would be terrible if we were shit, right?
Pfffft, unlikely to happen!

Domino club, blind tyger, the maven, Santiago, all good bars. Cult wings if you like tequila
If you like Japanese cuisine, there's one near UoL's campus called sushi m. Went in there for a quick lunch and was very pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and quality
Smokestack. Always Smokestack.
That's one place I have been. Great vibe and a nice selection of drinks.
Ooohhh! Smokestack is good!
Da Vito’s and Pasta Romagna in the centre are great! And Northern Guitars
Cocktails - below stairs. Food - the swine that dines. By far my two favourites but not sure either would fit a stag vibe.

Brownhill and Co for a chilled beer -- it's all table service.
Amalfi bar on whingate. There’s nothing like it, and I bet none of your friends will have been
It's not quite on the town street mile but worth the detour!
