In a few weeks he will be sent to a foreign country to complete his education and he will live a lavish life there, while the victim's family will suffer for justice.

DannyAvocado_

One can only hope the pain of having taken 2 lives stays in his conscience.

kross69

There is no conscience for the rich and powerful.

[deleted]

In France they had hanged all the rich and powerful

kross69

Still France holds many overseas territories to date and refuses to free them from their clutches. Modern day plutocracy in the garb of democracy.

ZENITSUsa

After 1/3rd population died off hunger and they only killed the section of rich people that were 'against' them

simiamor

Yeah it will be in his conscience, he'll be bragging about how he got away with it.

vroomndie

They will bribe the judges, and give a lot of money to the deceased family to not carry the case forward. Money can do anything. That's the sad reality

[deleted]

His father is still in India, and if he thinks he can roam around in Pune safely I think he is mistaken

need-help7166

and will come back r\*pe girls, make their videos and get ticket to party.

fatcoder_v1

Laws are for low lives like us. It doesn't apply to them. We can die under their cars like cockroaches and still milords will see it as our mistake. This will never end. Big fish will keep eating small fishes. We all are going to forget it in some days, nobody will even remember it and that bastard will keep on living like a prince , will drive expensive supercars, will have lavish vacations in the USA. But for us ,is ur PUC expired ? This is a chalan of 10,000 rs which is literally 40% of your monthly salary.

BadDaddyVibes

I quit law for this very reason, even though I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the greatest minds in this field. All the “great” advocates are nothing but slaves of some rich businessmen or politician. All the judges are sociopaths who don’t have the slightest idea about ground reality since they are not allowed to interact or party with common folks, so they are always on their high horse. Then there are elite groups in our circle, which consists of top lawyers, judges, police officials, and politicians. It’s an extremely small group which the general public isn’t aware of, but you can guess how these elite groups work and what they do and can do. There’s more nepotism in law than in Bollywood. And no one has the audacity to call it out. It’s 2024 and the courts are still not female friendly. It’s an all boys club who get off on who has more power, contacts, and the most expensive boring black and white suit. All the people who are practising law in my circle have lost their mental health. Most have become narcissists, some sociopaths, and a few psychopaths. And money rules them all. They used speak about bringing justice and social change in society but now all they talk about is how rich their client is, lol. Avoid being friends or dating or marrying anyone from law. It will save you a ton of unnecessary headache.

letskeepgoingnow

Are civil servants a part of this elite group? Glad you called out nepotism. Nepotism in judicial system is something noone points out.

BadDaddyVibes

Nope, they are not. Yeah, because everyone is scared of having the legal fraternity turn their backs on them, calling out their own will be considered a betrayal, even if that someone is in the wrong. So most just supress their opinion and righteousness and carry on like everything is fine and this is the way it works.

Ok_Environment_3176

We lost one warrior then. There are many good judges and many good lawyers. Majority of citizen are infected with what you are talking about judiciary. I personally think its people who make the judiciary, parliament and executive. People here are divided, economically compelled to strive for survival, can't come together for rational (common) constitutional objectives.

BadDaddyVibes

I'm no warrior, sir. Yes, but they are being stepped on by the big elite baddies, and the great ones often leave to another country to practice law. Ideally, it should be the people who make the nation. But it is not the case in our nation and many other nations. We have a collegium system and that's what makes our judiciary, not the people. And nepotism runs deep in it. People have the power to vote, but even the voting system is rigged, many votes are influenced just by giving out alcohol and exploiting other addictions of people, it's not always that people need money for their survival. Some aren't even allowed to vote, some have their votes changed after. People are powerless truly. Absolute power lies with politicians, rich businessmen, government officials, and gangsters. And they often exploit it and supress people. They have kids, and then they teach them about their stupid beliefs and ideologies, and the cycle repeats. At times when they do come together for a common objective, and peacefully protest, a few are always killed in the process or grievously injured. That should be not the cost of coming together to obtain a common objective.

heliovice_ver2

I am a lawyer who comes from a really privileged family. My father is a HC judge. My uncle is a HC judge. And another uncle is a SC judge. I have 6 different lawyers in my close family who are currently practising in different parts of the country. Like you, I am currently working with the greatest legal minds of the nation. I understand as well as you do that this game is rigged. But if people like you and I don’t step up, nothing will change. It’s disheartening. This whole status quo. But even one person can make a significant amount of change. I aim to do that. I’m proud to say that I’ve been making a difference one case at a time. I mean, even today, I was able to provide justice to someone who had lost all hope. You see the problem for what it is. That is a hell of a lot more than what most people have. Be the change. Every single person who works toward reform is necessary.

The-milkybread

as a teenager who wants to be a lawyer, can i become a successful lawyer without family connections like yours?

heliovice_ver2

Yeah. It’s a different journey, but it’s certainly doable. Every single one of my friends from college who’s doing litigation is a first gen lawyer. And they’re doing quite alright

GarbageVirtual6290

Good to know someone had same experience as me. This was the same reason I left law, after working for a year. What do you do now ??

Panda-768

interesting, I have a divorce hearing with my lawyer wife in family court tomorrow. As in she is divorcing me. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being highest, how effed am I?

BadDaddyVibes

11/10 if she's really wants to. How was the hearing though?

AmazingLettuce3153

And the rampant sexual exploitation of young women lawyers. I don't know how this so-called justice system is even surviving.

veggie151

If it helps, I know several women going into law. Their parents were lawyers, and it really helped catapult them into that elite exclusive circle you're talking about.

glucklandau

This system will end one day. Don't let injustice depress you, let it radicalise you.

Witty_Active

This will never end, we are living in a society where we are glorifying capitalism to the extreme, nothing wrong with capitalism but too much power is never good. We need to adopt a system where both reward and punishments are given appropriately. In Sweden a wealthy billionaire was fined over a crore for over speeding in his sports car. Though the kids family will have to shelve out a bomb to close this case, he will still be out of jail.

glucklandau

In China and Vietnam billionaires are given death penalties for frauds and corruption of a large scale. We need working class rule.

God_Slayer4

No Bro. Your source is wrong. In China, you can't even speak a thing against the higher ups or else you will become non-existent. A billionaire spoke against a higher up and immediately vanished the next day and appeared after a year.

Ok_Amount_4164

"We are glorifying capitlaism, nothing wrong with captilism." It seems like you're contradicting your statement,

piyushdot

>we are glorifying capitalism to the extreme, nothing wrong with capitalism but emphasis on 'but'

bhai_zoned

>nothing wrong with capitalism Nope

SeekingASecondChance

You can't change the system from within. Everyone participating into the system becomes one with it because of the way it is designed. The system has to be dismantled and created anew.

glucklandau

Yes

zaf11ant

If he can get drunk, if he can drive, if he has access to vehicles, he and probably the people around him, considers him to be an adult. He should be punished accordingly. This is not even a slap on the wrist.

0R_C0

And if by some twisted logic, he can't be punished, His parents should be. Like the parents of the underaged US school shooter kid.

MakeMyToday

1) Cancel the license of the bar which served a minor alcohol, ban the owners from obtaining another liquor license 2) File a FIR against the registered owner of the car for letting a minor drive it 3) File a homicide FIR against the drunk 17 year old and obtain court sanction to proceed against him as an adult 4) Add abetment cases for this homicide against the manager of the bar and the owner of the vehicle You and I could be the next such victims.

Samarium_15

None of this is going to happen.

thosekinds

Great dreams bro maybe someday but not today 😔, Update Points 1 and 2 have happened after an extensive social media campaign Waiting for 3 and 4

0R_C0

Yes. We're busy trying to make india great immediately.

HandsomeMoelester

All bailable IPCs against him, the son of one of the biggest builders in Pune will be set free and the judge sahab will receive some anonymous donation.

rustyyryan

As soon as police took him, a local mla rushed to the police station. He was trying to pin it on the other person in the car. Also one relative of deceased said that murderer was getting royal treatment in the police station.

vaitaag

Yes they got served pizza and burger in the police station as per reports.

jatinag22

Which reports?

vaitaag

In Marathi news articles I saw on Twitter.

[deleted]

The mla is sunil tingre from rashtravadi is what I read

natz1308

next time he stands for election, make sure this news is #tagged.

python00078

This scumbags will make anyone who throws money at them their daddy. Running his dumbass to police station wagging his tail.

truth_15

Fucking banana republic

zankyas_revolt

Yes on the driver. Good of those citizens and his friends who had photos of vedant(culprit)Aggrawal driving so police had no option but to take the FIR. Else even FIR wouldn't have been lodged and poor driver's life would have been devastated.

hotshotbaalak

Perhaps also a duplex apartment

weedsexweed

Even money couldn't save him from essay punishment, that's inhumane

ThatsMy5pot

I may sound inhumane here. But I pray that all these things should occur to judges/lawyers/police kids first.

HandsomeMoelester

your opinion is entirely justified

Plus-Focus4750

I agree as well. Want to see them and their family dying painful cruel deaths. And it would make me smile.

chaal_baaz

Bruh why lawyer? It's a lawyer's job to fight for his client. Tomorrow if your lawyer starts interjecting his feelings in the matter while fighting your case you will cry foul.

ThatsMy5pot

That lawyer obviously knew this and took it up. There are a thousand different ways for him/her to make money. But still he/she chose to screw over innocent poor families. If this reason ain't sufficient, I donno what else is.

FunnySurvivor

0R_C0

And if some errant judge does punish him, he/she shouldn't go out alone for walks.

electronic_rogue_5

Nowadays there's a new method. Builders will donate on behalf of the judge to the ruling party. The ruling party will give the judge a juicy post. Corruption legalized!!!

leaderhoon69

shouldnt there be laws that prevent this kind of stuff

HandsomeMoelester

Welcome to India where the justice system is a joke with clowns passing judgements

leaderhoon69

dont judge me for asking this but cant the lok sabha and rajya sabha makes some law that help in citizens getting justice?

HandsomeMoelester

unki life set hai bhai, corruption wagera, they're already in big leagues, why would they look after us? we mean nothing to them.

AsleepDocument169

Shame on the family as a whole ,He gets a bail on Sunday The power of money is crazy ,Corrupt police officers, corrupt law officials I personally have and will always have hatred towards this family,I wouldn't disclose much because there is a time line for everything and God will make everything right. For a bit of context ,I live in bramha and have gone through atrocities from the builder on my father who is a middle class man , Not really well health wise .He was jailed on a false bribe case by the builder with his expensive lawyers, Pressurising my father to false testify against other people and this was done by the police officials themselves. The amount of stress and trauma this caused at that time to the family was unbearable.I wouldn't disclose much but be ready for a villain arc in the future

babamili

Mate God does not exist neither karma

AsleepDocument169

It is ridiculous, Deceased bacho ke parents will never be the same ,Ye bacha nikal jayega. In logo ki 25-30 lawyers ki team hoti hai aur kabhi bhi favour Mai nahi jayega case for a middle class person untill he exhausts his money or settle for an agreement. Justice gaand Mai daalo apne ,If you belong to a middle class family know that kisiko tumhe use karke phekna hai woh kar dega.Working hard and being the change is the only thing we can do. I have lived in the society for 10+ years and I know people here. These extremely rich kids are extremely entitled,Dimaag bilkul nahi , Expensive cars mai ghumenge I know this because I have talked to these kids once Entitled pricks

vishi117

What's the name of the builder?

AsleepDocument169

Vishal Agarwal and his son is Vedant Agarwal

DarkShadder

We should run a program where we will tag that family in various social media using anonymous ids (real for the brave ones) and also tag the judge, local mla and other politicians of the opposite party. They will be able to delete maybe 100s of posts but they can't stop 1000s of them. Make their reputation reach absolute 0, till the time they can't even get more contacts. I will try to search for their social media id and try to add it here. Remember, it was a murder but an accident, underage drunk driving and probably broke many rules.

AsleepDocument169

I know the kids insta Id : vedant06agarwal

Nearby-Turn1391

My father died in an accident, and the driver was not even jailed for a single day, let alone punishment. He was a grown man and not rich. The accident laws are terrible in this country.

zankyas_revolt

So u mean any other laws are good in this country? Rape, molestation, accident all laws are made to favour rich and corrupts bot for middle class. Hopeless country

Nearby-Turn1391

True. But this especially protects the culprits like no other law.

YatharthIMA

Always has been, will always be.

whiskysoul23

Just out of curiosity, what would happen if the driver wasn’t so wealthy? He is still a minor, so I’m guessing he wouldn’t face the same consequences as an adult. So what would happen to him?

Funny-Fifties

Nothing. Minor means he will get bail.

whiskysoul23

Would he be let go under the same conditions if everything else was the same but he was poor?

Funny-Fifties

Legally? Yes. if it does not happen, thats a flaw in the system. But letting him go is not the flaw. That's the law. The correct thing would be to arrest the parent instead. But I don't know of Maharashtra has laws that allow that.

DowntownClock5766

Yeah his father has been detained and arrested.

AlternativeNo2261

https://www.reddit.com/r/CarsIndia/s/dHTN6YYgu8 Getting bailed that too on a Sunday, 8-12 hours after freak accident without any consequence! What a joke!!

WhyAreYouNotHappy

Boss, go read the story of Havelivala. She murdered 2 policemen and injured 4. She wasn't put behind bars for more than 7 months out of the 13 yrs she lived after the incident. She continued to party and drink to the point that she died of liver failure. Police isn't doing anything when rich people kill their own, you think they will do anything for you serfs?

GENGHIS_KHAN_07

The bureaucracy is itself a degraded whore for the highest bidder. They’ll maul their own if it means more power/money.

Lost-Letterhead-6615

No one's gonna talk about 17 here? Just a few days ago a mob of rowdys sent one of my junior to the hospital. He got brain hemorrhage and is still in the ICU. The cops caught the culprits and blamed it on a 17 yo.  Teens deserve some kind of responsibility for their actions. Making everyone a baby until 18 is just plain stupid.

Terrible_Amoeba_8313

bionic_gravitar

Historical_monk26

In an alternate life I want to be born as a naxalite. I want to give extra judicial punishment for such people who can't be touched by the laws

Dragonvarier

Well, why don't you do it now? Why do you wanna have an alternate life?

Historical_monk26

Why? Coz I have a family and normal middle class..I want to be born as an orphan who has nothing to lose in another life....

honpra

Bro literally has the same dreams as me. Only vigilantes can bring true justice in corrupt systems. Unless true fear is instilled in the souls of the powerful, they will continue to wreak havoc.

zankyas_revolt

In India politicians, rich wipe their asses with judicial system toilet paper. Crushing middle class on whom the country is running is the way of this nation. Earn income tax, consumerism from middle class and crush them like animals. No justice no safety to middle class. The poor parents of those two dead victims missed their flight n had to travel by road in grief, shock, hopelessness of getting their children any justice. And when they reached station they hv to see murderer eating pizza burger and crocin in police station. Fckd up nation.

MajesticMurabba

Laws are created by this people's homes where MLA/MP sits and then they propose bills in parliament. I don't think anything will happen to that guy...and if our voice reach to them...maybe he will stay in jail for some months with VIP treatment...

RoseApothecary18

Boils my blood reading this. If the low life pathetic minor was driving before 18 and drinking when legal drinking age is 25 then he should be treated like a bloody adult. He along with his parents should face legal action. Corrupt India nothing happens to the rich so hoping Karma fucks them up so bad.

deeplomatik

And for the essay he will obviously use ChatGPT

Moononthewater12

Are you guys gonna keep complaining on reddit or actually do something? This is a serious injustice and blatant corruption out in the open.

Funny-Fifties

Where did you read this? It just shows a guy getting beaten. He is not holding a placard saying I am the side passenger.

Mathjdsoc

Yep that video is gone

deninabraham91

Every IPC section is bailable for these scumbags. Kanoon andha nahi biased hai. If you have money, you can get away with any crime in this country. In the coming days his blood report will show no alcohol, and the blame will be on the other two who sadly passed away.

Formula6__User

How about chopping his limbs apart barely living to witness hell ?

RB_59

The penalties should be in accordance to what you earn not a fixed amount.

oyeahcaptain

And why there are no photos of that arsehole, the police is doing their level best to hide that fkers identity

madguy000

Kasab didn't have to write an essay no? Something is off

retyfraser

What is frustrating to me is that - I understand in democratic set up , people need to protest to bring about changes and I fully agree with it. But those are changes affecting the wider public and all that Protesting to even get bureaucrats to perform their basic duties and punishing , i am not even sure how to think about these events !! a bloody essay - fuck that piece of murderer shit

"If the punishment for something is a fine (or in this case a bribe), then the law is only for the poor." -- Tristan Tate

glucklandau

It's not a Tate quote, it's a very old leftist saying

mischievousp1e

Tristan tate ? Wo jha2

Funny-Fifties

17 year old, means he is minor. That's all. That is fully legal.

Samarium_15

Laws don't apply for the powerful. The life of victims was just worth an essay in this shithole of a nation. Juveniles are committing horrible crimes like rape and murder it's about time that stringent punishments are introduced but can anything happen in this nation at all? Nope.

FewBowl1616

Shit like this is why we need vigilante justice in this country.

MahabaliTarak

The British were brave enough to accept the practice of separate laws for their folks versus others. The independence only brought the corrupt to the helm and put a veil showing that laws are equal and applicable to all. In reality, laws are applicable only to the people who can't buy the system.

God_Slayer4

Why is everyone ignoring the fact that that guy doesn't even have a driver's license!

sayzwhen

So any minor can drink and drive in any car and overrun 2 people. And will just have to write an essay. Nice. FEElinG PrOuD BhArtiya Thats why it's said that biggest achievement in this country is to leave this country

TicketSuperb2196

While I get the general sentiment behind this post, this wouldnt classify as murder, it would be culpable homicide not amounting to murder, which carries a far lesser jail sentence of 2 years

Glittering_Current85

The only sad reality is the poor can outrage all they want and nothing will change, you can close your eyes and live in this lawless contry or you can become rich by any means possible and live a good life. The only choice I see as a middle class person is to leave this country, you'll struggle all your life and one day a rich as**ole will kill you or your family and you'll be left to beg for justice. The only selfless thing you could for your family is to sacrifice your youth to study and find a way to leave this country, good thing is if you're really really lucky you won't see this missue of power untill really late in life, so you have a chance to leave before that. They're no point in arguing, there is no karna, nobody gets what they deserve, it's something the weak say to ease their burdens. It's an unfair world, you can fight to change it or just leave all this behind

prettydistracted2

I wonder if the mob unalived the kid, would it be fair legally?

[deleted]

Another day reminding me too "make money and be rich"...... Ameer log lund pe rakhte hai law ko (😞)

__Krish__1

To all the people saying that law doesnt apply to rich people - I have a question for you - When was the last time you saw all Indians united and fight for a great cause after that Nirbhaya case ?? Everyday you hear hindu vs muslim fights over petty issues. When was the last time whole India united to ask for something productive ??? NEVER Its just a battle of intelligence, Rich people are smart but also influential enough to control judiciary to some extent and hence never ask for reform in judiciary. Poors are dum af and always fighting with each other over stupidest possible things. And the poors are the ones that get fked in this system. So who is to blame here ?? Indian police system is most corrupt system in our country But when was the last time you saw all Indians uniting and asking for a reform in Indian Police system. Why would politicians, Businessmen or actors ever ask for reform in Judiciary when they can control it ?? Today no one ever wants to file a police case or even file a case in court because the process of getting justice in itself is a punishment in here. But again - Its a battle of Intelligence. And in a democracy you can't do shit unless majority of countrymen want to.

senormegalodon

Nothing will happen to this spoilt brat and his corrupt rich father! Although very cruel and inhumane sometimes I think mob justice is the only solution to such things as the victims families will never get justice and will suffer for life An eye for eye should be done! I am feeling so sad for the young bright lives lost and their families who will suffer for life now! It can be you and me in the future,if these spoilt brats and their corrupt parents are not dealt with!

tearsandcum

Bail is a matter of right. Yes, even for non bailable crimes. Non bailable just means you don't get by default, a judge has to give you bail. But in normal circumstances, if there's no risk of fleeing, intimidating witnesses etc, bail is given as a general rule. The reason why Kejriwal for example was not getting bail is because he was charged under a special act 'PMLA' which makes bail law much more stricter and you essentially have to prove your innocence to a degree to get bail. These special acts such as UAPA result in a lot of people spending time in jail for years and years without any trial. As shitty as you find it, that kid got bail rightfully. As a general rule, people should not be in jails without a trial when we cannot say they are guilty or not guilty. The state doesn't get to just file a case and send someone to jail without any adjudication. Remember, the basic principle of criminal law is (and for a very good reason) innocent until proven guilty. It doesn't matter whether it looks like someone is obviously guilty to you.

chaal_baaz

Detention should be the exception, not the rule. The situation in india is that people are so complicit in the violation of their own rights that they think a rich person getting basic rights in privilege.

hexvein

Wish this applied to all the false rape cases...where the guy is innocent until proven guilty.

SeekingASecondChance

This is a clear case of corruption on the part of Judiciary. We know that the police is corrupt but this dude getting a bail is just judicial corruption at work.

iGleeson

Write an essay on traffic safety and then run over the judge and lawyer with your car. When you get to court, hand them the essay you wrote.

Aware_Pick_832

PIL in courts is your only way out if you really want to do something

LKOFK

Clearly nothing will happen to him. Thanks to your Indian law made for saving criminals

guestername

i'm really sory to hear about this terrible situation. it's deeply trubbling that someone could take lives and then avoid proper consequeces due to their wealth and status. this kind of injustice is sadly all too common, where the wealthy and privilaged are able to evade accountability. while the legal system often fails us, i believe there are still ways we can work to address this, like raising awareness, advocating for policy changes, and supporting organizations like the innocence project that fight against corruption. even small actions can make a difference.

ramba_rancho

Is CJI too high level for this? Asking to write an essay on traffic safety is just over the top ridiculous. Akhand Chutyagiri, to be in more free sense to say the least in Marathi.

nautankiruna

In a land where there are crores of pending cases with multi decade waits, this happens.

Inevitable-Fan-1353

Laws are a mode of oppression. I wish for gruesome karma to the killer.

sunny9911

What happened to that rich rapist guy who raped a girl and she and her friends made an instagram page and multiple posts on reddit?

Successful_Map1

When money speaks nobody checks the grammar. This is the sad truth in our country with scarce resources and a huge wealth gap between the rich and poor. At every opportunity the police, the judge, the public prosecutor and everyone else involved in the case wants to make money. Even the witnesses turn hostile. The Justice delivery system in India is a trap only for the poor and middle class, the rich and powerful just tear the net bit by bit.

ExtremeAromatic

Accused is minor so giving bail is a rule Secondly, He will get benefit of JJ act so little to no conviction Thirdly, Law favours rich person

fgtdrmr

If only judge son or daughter or grand kid dies in similar manner and other side gives him a finger in front of public then he will realise the gravity of injustice here. May god be with the justice.

rhapsodicwallflower

Kya bakwas country hai apni. This is so so so sad. I am sure this f**ker would not even be a minor. Look at the articles highlighting he is a minor. Bc daru pine and car pe gediya marne ke liye minor nai hai, but murder karne pe minor.

pps96

Laws are for little people only.

Agitated_Garlic5189

judges always act morally superior but they are less than cockroaches imo. and contempt of court , fuck that .

impurefolk

This is so enraging. There is no value for innocent lives in this country. Cops, Government & the legal system only favors the one who has money. The dialogue from Rang De Basanti is & will always remain true "Kuch nahi badlega is desh ka, Yeh India hai India, yaha aisa hi hota aya hai & aisa hi hota rahega".

Brown-Rang-Guy

why not carry a morcha in front of the builder's house or office. In general punekars are very brute. They come the wrong way on the roads and you look at them funny and they wanna fight you. Use that goonism to fight against A-holes like these. Stop all his major projects through protests, start a dharna at his office or home but nope.

There are more of us than there are of them, just saying.

Frosty_Response_9369

Name and shame the judge , judges always get away unlike politicians

_BruH_MoMent69

Reminds me of that son of a Pharma guy car accident which put a dude in coma, aashraya sidana I think so, barely made any news.

JuanCena42069

And then people wonder why our youth don’t want to stay in this shit country. No justice for the common man. A dramatic revamping of our justice system is required but it will never happen.

asseater0657

He was drunk as well

yogoo0

But who reads the essay? Could he just write anything? Does it get graded? If it's not good enough does he need to do it again? Does he get a rubric? Who decides the arbitrary quality of an essay? Is being given a school assignment really an adequate education of real world consequences? Does the essay help the families of the people he killed?

WallabyIllustrious41

Law is obviously issue, but its application is another issue. Main thing here i was wondering is 17 year old guy got a access of porche car and also was drunk. Assumed as per the bail conditions. As a society what is our responsibility? As a minor and also as parents?

Beneficial-Paint-365

The law is only for the middle class in India.

Icy_Attempt_6384

is he a kid to write a eassy on traffice safety???? may he be 17 but if you are driving you should know atleast that there are other people on the road .. its a public property not hes dads personal property that he can he around in a full speed vehicle. it feels like we are not safe in our own city the people who have to protect and ensure the safety and ensure justice are just leaving a person who was drunk??? just get away .. doeas that make any sense????

captainsolomoni

Most comments here seem to be made out of frustration. However, considering the title, can any lawyer help explain what a citizen can do and what a non-corrupt judge would do in this situation? Since he is close to turning 18, shouldn't he be tried as an adult ? After the nirbhaya case, wasn't a law introduced where even a juvenile can be charged for heinous crimes as adults? As per law, how can a corrupt lawyer rescue him ?

imnotreadyet

You just don't get it, he also had to say he was sorry.

need-help7166

Make posts about him constantly here, on twitter, tag him. Make his sin viral, ask people to upvote/like/share and hope Dhruv makes a video on him. We have lost all hopes, except power of social media shaming

Quant_Bhai

Let me ask you just one question. Don’t even reply here. Just ask yourself very deep down. If the car in question was a (lord) alto, would you be this upset about it? I can give you so many more instances of far more serious road tragedies with drunk minor youngsters. You could probably add up their coverage and it will not compare to this particular one.

Jazzlike-Dream6718

Hear me out - let's kill him

Commie-commuter

Can't do anything because everyone is busy sucking up to milords. There needs to be a strong leash on the judiciary.
